EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS REVIEW AND NOT SHOP HERE! I was just visiting today, 2/26/24. I drive a small blue school bus (influencer style, everyone in town has been telling me how adorable it is), and had been parked in uptown park for 2 hours while I shopped the premises. My bus does not take up more than a standard parking space. During that time I visited many business in uptown park, and went for a full walk around the perimeter. Upon arriving back at my vehicle security came up to me and asked if I was waiting for someone or if I ordered food. I said no, not at the moment, I was just shopping. I was instructed by security to leave the premises immediately, that my vehicle couldnt be there. FOR LITERALLY NO REASON. I own a business! Sorry I don't drive a Mercedes or a Porche. I regret spending a single dime at any of these businesses. Obviously discrimination at its finest. I will be telling all of my family in Houston, especially who live on the west side about this encounter. There's obviously an image they're trying to uphold and, and even though my bus probably cost more than most of the vehicles in the lot, I guess I'm just not good enough to shop here. It's clear they're trying to put on the were fine dining facade, but you're literally selling...
Read moreStopped by to get an over the range microwave and I knew what I was looking for, so I went into the area in which the microwaves are at and found a young man and woman "cleaning" the stoves, but did not day a thing, instead left elsewhere (disappeared). So no one to ask for help nor assistance - once I used the Lowe's app to figure out which microwave had the 400 CFM, I went to look for help, after 2 times that I went around walking and found NO ONE. Eventually ran into a young girl and told me where to find the microwaves and told me to go grab it if it were there. Once I found it I had to wait a long time to get someone to...
Read moreUptown Park was one of the earliest shopping centers to explore the outdoor concept in Houston, a simulation of sorts of a small European town with restaurants, bars, shops, and so on. The center has really grown over the years, and it houses some incredible restaurants and stores. The losses of the Uptown Starbucks and Uptown Tasting Room were significant, but I hope they fill those spots soon enough. Check out Étoile and Songkran first if you like French or Thai food, respectively; they're my...
