Needler's Fresh Market is a parking garage that masquerades as a grocery store. Needlers Fresh Market is dreadfully small but they proclaim parking rights over a surface parking lot that's 3x too big for the size of Needlers Fresh Market. The parking lot is a 2 hour parking lot for the Lockerbie Square Market Place (what businesses compose the Lockerbie Square Market Place is a complete mystery and Needlers Fresh Market prefers is that way.) That way, when Needler's Fresh Market utilizes their harassing's parking management vendor (Denison Parking), they can ticket anyone who parks in their parking lot. If you do not bee-line for Needler's Fresh Market after you park in the 2 HOUR surface parking lot, you will be ticketed.
Needler's should thank the surrounding businesses for pulling in parking traffic to the 2 HOUR surface parking lot. Because no one is parking in that parking lot to shop at Needler's Fresh Market. Needler's Fresh Market has cornered the market on pricing their food astronomically high, so most people can't afford to shop for basic needs + they've found a new revenue stream in ticketing their own customers in ?their? parking lot. Not only are the Needler's Fresh Market prices high but the store is routinely filled with homeless and mentally unstable people.
Don't waste your time at Needler's Fresh Market. You have a 50/50 chance you'll be ticketed for parking to buy your groceries. You'll be doing a constant human slalom around individuals who are unstably high or homeless & zoning out in the middle of the aisles or sleeping on the floor.
If you want to pay for absurdly expensive groceries, drive 2 blocks South down New Jersey to Whole Foods. Where they have private covered parking, a clean/safe store and I can make my Amazon returns (two...
Read moreAny other day I would have suggested this place to anyone! They have an amazing meat department. And I'm a big meat eater. So I normally drive 20mins at least to get here everytime and tonight was no different. I called before I left to confirm what time their meat department closes as I normally go in the daytime however I worked late tonight and didn't think it would be an issue. The associate told me they close at 10pm but there is usually no one there past 9pm. So I arrived at 8:47 I know that's close but the associate also said if no one was there they could get someone to help us. So as I said we arrive and it is indeed closed but the guy was cleaning and I asked if it was possible to still get some steaks from the case. And he has such an poor attitude. I felt bad at first because he really want to close so we made it quick...we new exactly what we wanted. I asked for a ribeye and my roommate Kate asked for a filet. He slung stuff around and slammed case doors. He reached in and just grabbed the first pieces of each he found. Without showing us anything he just chose our steaks for us. Then asked if we wanted anything else. I told him I would have totally bought more but he made it so obvious that we were not wanted so we left the counter. We shopped around a bit for some other items and then left. As we got home 20 mins or so later we're starting making dinner. Upon opening the steaks to our surprise the associate charged me for the ribeye and packaged a new york strip. That sent me over the edge. There's not excuse for poor...
