Catacombs — Attraction in Indianapolis

I was so disappointed. I have been wanting to see the Catacombs for years! We literally were taken down to the Catacombs but before we walked in he told us a little about the family who donated the money for the original building and a bit of history about the market place. Pretty neat. Worth a detour. Lots of people I asked about it think it has dead bodies, it is not that type of catacomb. It’s just a really neat brick basement. Catacombs is really a misnomer (incorrect name) for this location and comes from a potential restaurant name that didn't come to fruition. It is more of a basement tour for a building built in the 1800s. You walk the square which could be done in 1-2 minutes, but the tour guides stop frequently to discuss history. 3 stars for the information and getting to visit ruins that are 200 years old.
