Phiri art studios — Attraction in Indianapolis

The location is a bit hard to find. I would suggest arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the event. It is located next to the Media One Studio. Media One has bright lights so you can't miss it. Please note, you will need to be buzzed in. There is a security guard at the desk to help you. Once in, take the elevators to the 5th floor.

This space offers A LOT! Personally, it was a bit overwhelming, but there was a guide at that assisted you in getting the right place. I was there for an event. They had several vendors. The biggest issue I had with the vendors was, they are set up in front or near a lot of artwork. It was hard to get a feel of the place. You're at an art gallery, you want to see the art. Yes, vendors are important, but their location did not enhance my experience. The locations of the vendors is actually what kept me from giving 4 stars. Although, I will add that the vendors were diverse offering jewellery, occult items, Ghana waist beads, and some clothing.

I booked a date to do the paint and sip and there was an issue with the date and time that I originally chose. I reached out to the owners and Dwani “D” was extremely accommodating when I had to reschedule several times before I had time in my work schedule to attend. I had a good time. Suggested this establishment for a girl's night out, the ’80s 90’s party. Thought it would be a nice experience but did not prevail. The party was canceled multiple times and rescheduled for another date. We arrive at a closed building. No one has returned voicemails or refunded our money....
