105 S Meridian Street st Indianapolis Indiana 46225
I stayed at this location on 3/28-3/29/25. I was moving from Nebraska to New York and Indiana was along the way. 9 hours into my journey, I booked in advance and was trying to pull up to park. First off they did not tell me that I had to valet my car and that it was a separate fee from my almost 400 dollar over night stay. Valet was a young unprofessional man who was so far behind in valet there was no place for me to park along the busy street. I had to go around one ways, 3 times before there was a spot. When I finally got into the hotel the valet was on his personal phone and didn't realize I walked in until I said hello. The check in clerk was very professional, very kind and tried his best to accommodate me. He told me to leave my key to my car and he will have the valet send me the ticket number via text message. I was given my card key and off I went. As soon as I open the door, the smell of urine in that bathroom. I was too tired to verbally protest, settled in, took my shower, called my parents and went to bed. Woke up, went to have my complimentary breakfast (the kitchen staff chef were very inviting, professional and social with everyone) and realized I did not get a text message. I went to the check in desk and was greeted by 2 clerks, one young man and an older woman. I spoke to them about my valet ticket and was directed to valet. I went to them and they couldn't find my key. I distinctively gave my key with a key chain with a picture of the PR flag. 10 minutes no key. My key was found in the cabinet, on the bottom of it. Not on a hook like the others. The valet checked my key in on 3/29/25 so the system thought I was checking out on 3/30, I couldn't give them a heads up at least 15 minutes ahead so that I am not delayed. Delayed 45 minutes. Paying for the valet was a challenge. The young man clerk was new, just a week of employment. He had an issue with processing my payment. He asked the older lady politely to help me. She was helping 1 person no one else was behind this person. He states and I heard her agree she will help me after that person. The the male clerk goes to the back. 3 more people join her side of the check in/ check out desk and she leaves me waiting. When the male clerk comes back he sees my face expression has changed from happy to disgusted. He asks what was the matter? I expressed how she helped 3 people before me and left me here waiting. He had to tell her again and even then I still had to wait until she was ready. (Back story..the young male clerk was half Puerto Rican and half African American. He felt a connection to me and was very sweet. She initially was part of the social interactions but dismissed herself out of the conversation.) This woman did not look my way, acknowledge my patience in waiting, no assurance she is going to help me or even acknowledging my presence. After I expressed myself politely, about waiting and my time being wasted, she did not have the audacity to apologize. This was clearly bigotry because I look Caucasian and anyone who knows me, knows I am not. The moment she found out I wasn't Caucasian her attitude changed towards me. She is Caucasian and all those 4 people she helped were Caucasian. DO NOT GIVE THIS LOCATION ANY BUSINESS LATINOS AND AFRICAN AMERICAN/BLACK AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!! I contacted corporate. They called and emailed me. She said 3 days I'll be contacted about this matter. It's May 3rd and...
Read moreMORTIFIED!!!! Never have I been treated so poorly! We arrived to a group of drunk people as I was checking in with my daughter and no one thought a thing about it as they were causing havoc in the lobby and the security guard sat in his phone. I looked passed it and checked in with the hotel desk person who was not friendly. I paid $40 for valet parking and no one gave me a cart or assisted with helping me unload my bags as a single mother with my daughter. As I am unloading my car a homeless man started having a psychotic episode only steps away from me and my daughter, throwing stuff and shouting violent slurs. ALL of my stuff was on the curb and I locked me and my daughter in the car for safety. After a minute I ran into the lobby and signaled to the security guard for help meanwhile the front desk person and valet girl just stared at me. The security guard slowly walked over to help me and then I was left to bring my stuff in from the curb while this man was still out there and the staff just watched me rush all my stuff in from the curb. Not a are you okay can we help. NOTHING!!!!! I was literally just throwing my stuff into the lobby so it wouldn’t get stolen and to get back into some sort of safety.
We enter the hallway and it’s gross. There are carts everywhere and debris on the floor as if it was abandon. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are dirty and completely out of date. There is hair entangled in the towels beside myself.
When I expressed my concern to the front desk person he looked at me like I was crazy and told me it was dark outside he couldn’t see me scared, dragging all my stuff in.
Please stay away!!!!
Update!!!!! Checked out today to a flat tire in valet and my car smelled like someone had been eating an entire meal in here. My tires were brand new and I had t driven them since I checked in and they were perfect. My tire was flat to the ground. The smell in my car was awful and didn’t smelll that way when we checked in. And guess was the hotel did when I complained about my original review and my car!!!! NOTHING!!!!!!
The thermostat wasn’t working in our room either so it was either freezing or a heat box.
Dirty and the staff is beyond rude!!!!!! Please book...
Read moreI called the hotel directly prior to our trip to specifically ask about the valet parking, the safety of it, and confirmed cost. I was told by hotel staff that it was in a different location than the hotel, was not the parking garage nearby, and that it was very secured and had security cameras around the location. I was lied to! The parking lot is within walking distance to the hotel and in an open lot so anyone can walk in and mess with your vehicle. The vehicle was left unlocked by the valet. Money was taken, credit cards were stolen and used. It was a complete run around last night and again this morning trying to gain access to the security cameras to identify the thieves. Other locations where the stolen stolen card was used verified it was two black men using the card for purchases. The valet is not a part of the hotel but a contracted entity. The supervisor of the valet service refused to come out last night when the police report was filed to pull up cameras. The hotel refused to show us the cameras and stated they needed the police to be present to request that. Officer Allison was present last evening at 10PM, why didn't you allow him to see the cameras then??? The hotel was still expecting us to pay for the valet charge after check out and I demanded that to be removed. The hotel, under their poor choices of contracting with an outside company that does not take care of customer service and ensure safety for not only their customer but employees as well, and lack of high quality camera systems are reasons I'll never return nor reccomend this hotel to anyone! You ruined our weekend trip!! You ruined our time at the NRA convention!! We should have been given a free night stay but their was no offer of anything other than bottled water for our troubles. Indianapolis Police Department has a police report okn this situation and will be gaining access to your cameras.
Secure your parking lot better! Do better!!!
Room was clean, but loud noises from cars racing and homeless screaming all night long. Didn't eat breakfast. Was too sick from car...
