I recently had the opportunity to visit the Staples store and I must say that it offers a convenient and satisfying shopping experience. From the wide range of office supplies to knowledgeable staff members, there were several aspects that impressed me during my visit.
First and foremost, I found the store's layout to be well-organized and easy to navigate. The shelves were neatly stocked and clearly labeled, making it a breeze to find the specific office supplies I needed. Whether it was printer ink, paper, or stationery, Staples in Southport had a good variety and seemed to cater to the needs of both home and professional office setups.
One of the standout features of Staples was the helpful and friendly staff. The employees were readily available, approachable, and willing to assist customers. In my experience, they were knowledgeable about the products and provided helpful recommendations when I had specific inquiries. It's always reassuring to have attentive staff members who can guide you in finding the right items for your needs.
Furthermore, the store offered a range of services that proved to be quite convenient. The print and copy center inside the store was well-equipped and efficient. I was able to get my documents printed and bound quickly, saving me valuable time. The availability of services like these on-site makes Staples a one-stop-shop for office-related needs.
In terms of pricing, Staples offers competitive rates on most of its products. While not always the absolute cheapest option, the store provides value for the quality of its offerings. Additionally, the availability of discounts and promotions helped make the overall shopping experience more budget-friendly.
However, one area where Staples in Southport fell a bit short was the store's size. It felt relatively smaller compared to other office supply retailers I've visited. This occasionally resulted in a crowded environment, especially during busy periods, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver through the aisles. Despite this, the staff made efforts to ensure a smooth shopping experience, even during busy times.
In conclusion, Staples is a convenient and reliable destination for office supplies and services. With its well-organized layout, helpful staff, and a range of offerings, the store caters to both individual and professional needs. While it may be on the smaller side, the convenience and quality make up for any minor drawbacks. I would recommend Staples to anyone in need of office supplies in the...
Read moreI have ordinarily got good service from this location, nearest and most convenient to me. Went there 16 Aug 2018 around 5 pm and the Asst Mgr attended to me, I needed a small design done and printed. As I explained what I needed, she saw that her technical guy was best fit to help out and she turned to ask him to come and talk to me and he flat out said that he was too busy. I looked at her tag and she was Asst Mgr and he just an ordinary employee...she pressed and asked me how soon I needed it and asked if a couple of days would be fine and I said that would be fine. She asked him, again, if he would come and see what I have and then get to it later when he had time but he did not budge, he said that he had 3 projects to do and did not have time for me. She tried to insist, albeit politely and he shot her down and refused repeatedly. That was very embarrassing for me, very embarrassing too for the assistant manager for such gross insubordination in front of a customer. Not to mention refusal to serve a customer. I was very disappointed and as a man of color I wonder if that had anything to do with it, I have had great service there before and by the same assistant manager lady albeit with someone else on the design team. Very disappointing and very unprofessional, someone needs to retrain the young man as he was very rude, very unprofessional and clearly showed disrespect for the lady in charge. Needless to say, will be going somewhere else now...not by choice. Btw, am a professional designer myself and needed cheap work done quickly for an initial presentation.
**Update: I have back to the store and the service has been nothing...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible. I stopped in a couple weeks ago and asked one of the employees who worked in the printing area if they could print 180 wedding programs. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The only thing she said was to just make sure the paper we wanted to use was less than 100lb card stock because it might not work on their printer. Walked in today and the employee first said well this is going to take a couple of hours, which was frustrating as I live an hour away and now had to find something to do for a couple of hours. I also left my number and asked her to call if she had any questions or to call when it was done. Apparently to her that doesn't mean to call to tell me that the paper I brought in, which was 65lb card stock, wouldn't feed in to their printers. I find that hard to believe as my home printer (HP envy) prints fine using that. Oh, and did I mention she opened all four packs of paper and returned some...
