hands down the worst gamestop ive been to. For months, the store has been a complete disaster that looks like a tornado swept through. There have been multiple instances of trying to pick up a pre-order only for them to tell me they "cant find it". The whole point of preordering is to ensure you have a copy ready for you on release day. The rep at this store "Davey" is always the common denominator here. The store is littered with boxes of unpacked merchandise and all this rep does is complain in front of customers how he can't wait for customers to leave to store so he can eat the food he has waiting in the back. After coming back a different day to try to pick up the same pre-order, he had closed down the entire store so he could take a break. I've worked for this company before and NEVER has that been okay to do. After waiting 15 minutes for Davey to decide he wants to return to work and open the store, I was met with the same "I can't find it right now" response. So I have products I have paid in advance for, only to not receive them, and have no idea how long I'll not have the and am only ever met with the same generic "I can't find them and I will not be looking for this item tonight" - completely denying to even attempt to look for the product I paid money for. Absolutely the worst store and customer "service" Ive ever experienced. GameStop as a company needs to rethink how they handle business and who they hire to be the face of their company....
Read moreWent in today for some random purchases. The guy “Zoey” working was so unprofessional and so rude it was absolutely insane. Overheard a CHILD go up to him and ask about a price for an item since it didn’t have the price she had called him “sir” and he YELLED at her saying “its MAAM” this was a literal CHILD who probably had to work up the courage to even ask him what the price was. He was rude to anyone who asked questions or was debating buying something. Then proceeded to say “I can’t handle it, I’m going to the back” first of all, to act like that is UNCALLED for. Yelling at a CHILD who has NO RELATION to you is UNCALLED FOR. And DEMANDING that if people want the little Pokémon stuff you were bring out then they “have to get out of line” If you cannot simply handle a misgender from a child, when you look like a male minus the scrunchie and name tag but everything else screams male, you should NOT be working in customer service. If you cannot handle a little business you should NOT be working in customer service. The gentleman at the register ringing people out was an absolute sweetheart. When I was at work today ( Monday ) they called me and changed the story... Now I cant pick up the game till Tuesday at 10am... I could of got the game at midnight, if I just ordered it from PlayStation. Love how they LIED to me, to get me to pre-order the game, than call me a day later stating that the rules have now changed. DONT pre-order your games here, they will tell you anything, to get you to pre-order the game, then call you a day before release, to change the pick up time.
