The first room we had, had a very bad smell, like mildew and very strong cologne. The carpet and blankets felt slightly moist. I thought the smell/moisture was maybe just the room being musty maybe due to unuse and that it would improve once the room cooled down with use of the air-conditioner. It did not. It only got worse, making me very nauseous from the smell. The bed was also making me feel very itchy. I don't know if it was their detergent or the moisture in the blankets, but it was very uncomfortable. I did a quick check for bugs and didn't see any during my brisk inspection. Less than an hour after checking in, we called the front desk and asked to move rooms due to these circumstances. The front desk associate was polite and said they could come use carpet deodorizer. We said that we didn't feel that would work due to the intense smell and would like a different room. They did not have any king beds left, so our only choice was two double beds. I said that I would just like to leave and have a refund, since i wanted to be able to share a bed with my husband. They said they couldn't give us one. Since my husband and I were very tired and I didn't want to lose the money, we took the double bed room. So the next room we got was much better. Upon entering this room, at a quick glance, it appeared clean; but, unfortunately there was a dirty rag left of the bedside table (see pic). I chose to ignore it, thinking that the front desk person may have left it when potentially checking this room for us, to be sure it did not smell. I don't know if he did this or not, but I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt. I inspected the beds after finding the dirty rag. I did not see any sign of bugs, but the sheet was stained (see pics), and the blanket was dirty with something that looked like some kind of food sauce (please let it be from food ewwww-see pics). Also the toliet lids were up- like when a man uses the toilet and doesn't put down the lid-our other rooms toilet wasn't like this upon check in. There was also a pube like hair on top of the tank of the toilet. I was disgusted, uncomfortable and tired.My husband suggested we just leave anyway and lose the money, but I felt he needed a few hours of sleep before driving again, and his blankets appeared clean. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the bed, as I doubted the cleanliness. So I sat up all night, trying to doze in the chair in the room, without a blanket. I would never, ever, ever get a room here again. If this is the standard Best Western is putting it's stamp on, I would never stay at another Best Western. I don't have high end requirements for a hotel room, I just want a clean room to sleep in, at least a clean bed. This place by far...

Checked in around 7pm grabed food took shower and woke up at 11:00 find bedbugs having a buffet on my arm. I was itching like crazy turned on the light and found one on the pillow I was sleeping on then found another . My husband went and told the front desk clerk whom came to the room and seen the bugs and was switching our room ,but came back a few mins later and said we could not have room it was already promised to someone else gave us a refund and put us out in the middle of the night while it was snowing. They definitely do have bedbugs I will be calling the health dept and BEST Western cooperate offices . I do have pics of the bedbugs but not sure how to load them here. I am contacting the health dept.

Read moreDon’t get scammed by this hotel and the old lady at the desk. She claims to be the end all be all person for this location and apparently it my fault when i checked in, she wasn’t on duty. I called Thursday afternoon and explained my truck was in the shop thru Wednesday. I was told they offer trucker discounts and provided a rate of 134.99$ per night including my 2 pets. Come check out time I am informed that the woman that checked us is was new and shouldn’t have offered us a trucker discounted rate. Much to my dismay the total at checkout was 400 dollar over what was quoted. I explained this isn’t what was agreed to and tried to get her to call the other employee. But the lady said it didn’t matter because the woman would be fired after this mistake. She explained if they don’t make their money in the summer, that they would go out of business during winter months. Still not satisfied I asked to speak with the owner of the hotel. Was told they would call me very soon. After a couple hours, i returned to the desk to see when should expect a call. The hotel manager said the owner called and was stuck out of the states and couldn’t call me for a month. This is a good ole bait and switch. My company has us in this area once every 3 months for a week at a time and i will not be staying at any best westerns moving forward. If you don’t want to have you money stolen with little recourse at checkout, skip this hotel. They are only in it for the money.
