Love this place so the reason I’m only giving 3 stars is because this is the second time we’ve gone this week and they shut down rides and/or arcade games earlier than closing time. For example first time we went we did more arcade games at the end of the timeframe and they were shut off a few minutes early. This time they shut down the rides early. Bumper cars was closed 9 minutes early (we were in line and the worker told us the people who went before us were to be the last one. There was no one there anymore on the bumper cars and once we walked away I checked my watch and it was only 9:51! (Today they didn’t close until 10p) And before that , my youngest was waiting for rock wall at 9:38-9:42 ish and the gentleman said he may not have time to climb once I asked him if my son could go (which confused me but we just waited patiently anyway after I pointed my son out & to exclude me. Well my son almost got denied because two younger woman came over and the worker all of a sudden immediately came over and let the girl who had JUST walked over in! And my son was standing right there! So I assumed maybe more than one person can go at a time. No..Luckily though the worker still let my son climb after her! Otherwise that would have pushed me too far. I’m glad he let him go but that was extremely rude and unprofessional. Overall the staff there aren’t necessarily mean or rude they’re just not as pleasant as you would assume since they work in customer service/“entertainment”. Just felt like we were more of an annoyance than anything. Loved the guy running lazer tag though! He actually softened the blows we experienced later because he was real cool and nice ! Real cool place, just several small issues stacked ontop of each other. We pay up until a certain time- well then that’s how long the rides and games should be open until. Maybe next time will be...
Read moreI am very disappointed with the customer service here. My partner and I visited this establishment hoping to take a group here for a holiday party. The staff was rude and uninviting. When we came to the establishment it was unclear where to go and purchase skates. At the door an older man was standing there glaring at us as we walked in. We approached 2 young boys managing the skate rentals. We asked how much skates were and they didn't know the prices. The man at the door came to the counter and yelled at us telling us that we had to pay first at the door before we came in. We asked where that was & he pointed, embarrassed we walked back out into the dark hallway to a small unmarked window. We had to knock on the glass & wait until a young girl came to the window to make our transaction. Then we went to get our skates. My partner asked for inline skates & they continued that it was a dollar more & that we had to go back out & pay for that separately. No one informed us that it was extra and after a discussion they let us give them a dollar for the inline skates. When my partner received the skates all of the clasps were broken on the skates. So he went back to ask for a different pair. The kids at the counter procceded that they were not broken trying to get them to stay shut & they didn't. Then he wouldn't give my partner new skates until he gave them his shoes. Which they never asked for my shoes. The kid insisted that he would not get the skates until he had my partner's shoes. I am very dissapointed with the lack of hospitality and customer service and will NEVER return. I honestly felt like my partner was racially profiled for being Latino. It was awkward & embarrassing. I am appalled that this kind of treatment...
Read moreThis place is awesome. My family and I come here often. Staff are experienced skaters and cool people. Food is what you'd expect. Finger foods, snacks, and drinks are served here. Bathrooms are accessible walking or on skates. They have roller skates and roller blades available for rental. During the weeks when they are open its fun. Saturday nights is what I'd like to call "tween" night. They have skate mates to help with unexperienced skated. People from all walks come here to have fun. They have a rock climbing wall, arcade games, bumper cars, and laser tag. My family has had 2 birthday parties here so far. It's a great place for families. I love the lights paired with the music. The music that plays comes from all genres and from different generations. They play games like 4 corners and limbo during skate times. Prices are good too. The most fun that I have here (being from 1990) is adult skate night. It happens Sunday night at 7. There are no kids to worry about falling over just adults. They play mostly 80s, 90s, and early 2000s music. It'll definitely have you feeling nostalgic if you've ever gone skating around that time. Everyone is friendly and you will always see your regulars. Everyone will help you learn new things and pick you up when you fall. It's just overall an awesome place. The music is important. I went to a place in Pennsylvania and the music was TERRIBLE. Nothing that anyone that I know has ever heard. Hated it. The music sets the tone when you're out there on the floor. Nothing that grabs the kids' attention either. You should check this place out it's pretty awesome. Never had an issue with other families here either, which is a huge deal for me even considering going...
