The employee in the store was nice but that was about it. I'm not sure if it is because of the whole Covid thing but the chocolate taste old. I checked the dates and most of the candy expires over the next 2 weeks to three months. It's weird, even chocolate that expires in three months still taste old. It's like the sugar separated and all you are tasting is chalky chocolate, mixed with separated sugar (old) .
To make matters worse, the candy is extremely overpriced for the lack of quality!! They are asking for lady Godiva prices, when the chocolate taste like it's been sitting in someone's car glove department for months.
And if you have never had sees candy before, please don't let this location spoil it for you. I grew up in southern California eating sees candy, and this store doesn't represent the quality (at all!) of the actual brand.
Recommendation to the store, please throw out all your current candy that has been sitting due to Covid.. (perhaps the temperature in the store or stockroom was off, when the store was closed during Covid) and order everything new again so that the chocolate...
