Bella Laine Art — Attraction in Key West

I really can’t say enough good things about this store. I was on a trip with a bunch of friends in the keys and I wandered into this store right next to my Airbnb. I was really needing to get away from the noise of the group and boy did I stumble upon a gem! I perused around the store for a bit and had the absolute pleasure of meeting the owner of the store, Emily. We talked candles, essential oils, health and wellness, life events, etc. and I can’t explain how meaningful the interaction was, especially having gone through some tough things lately. Her insight and perspective on life alongside her ability to make you feel right at home in the store is unmatched. And I haven’t even gotten to the goods yet! If I could buy everything in the store, I genuinely would. The essential oils, the candles, the art, the jewelry, the little vintage pieces, everything was so perfectly curated and so gorgeous. I bought an essential oil that smells heavenly, a plant-dyed bandana, claw clip finally big enough for all my hair, and a self-reflective intentional 2025 planner (which I later used on the beach to map out some intentions for the coming months). Bella Laine is a beautiful escape. I met Emily for the first time last summer when I visited Key West with my dad who was sick. During my visit she custom made a candle for me since I was only able to pop into the shop for a quick escape. Since then, I returned to the shop with my sister, who she also made a wonderful experience for. After my dad passed, I ordered more candles because Emily’s shop reminds me of the moment I had during my visit to Key West with him. Emily is incredibly kind and welcoming. My husband and I stopped in this shop on our last day in Key West. Thank goodness we did. Google describes Bella Laine as a candle shop, but there is so much more! As soon as we stepped in, we were enveloped by this wonderful fragrance as well as a feast for the eyes with all the beautiful artwork and clothing displayed around the shop. The shop owner, Emily, is so creative, but she is also so very kind and welcoming. Our time in Key West was so beautiful and the purchases I made at Bella Laine were a perfect souvenir.
