We arrived in Key West around 1pm and we were all tired from being up at 4:30am to make the Key West Ferry. So, with that being said we needed some caffeine before checking in to our AIRbnb and this was the first place we found, which was right across from our AIRbnb. The place is so cute, decorated in yellow and black, representing the amazing Queen Bee! We immediately saw the COLADA on the menu. What is a colada you ask - its the most amazing coffee drink that will def get you off the couch and out to see the world. The Colada is a type of Cuban coffee, with 3-6 shots of espresso. This coffee is known for its strong, sweet flavor, by adding sugar directly to the espresso during brewing. The sugar is whisked with a few drops of espresso to create a sweet, creamy foam. I'm going to politely tell the lady serving me that this wasn't a coladita. The girl (a rude, ill-mannered woman) responds rudely that this is how they made it. I insist that I've been to other establishments of the same brand/franchise, and they DID prepare it correctly. Then the barista gets involved, also very rudely, saying that this is how they made it and that I didn't know what an espresso was or how an espresso machine worked (funny because I'm Italian...). Finally, they agree to make a new one, which was simply worse. Clearly, I will never return. I'm clarifying the date and time in case any manager reads this review and can identify the two rude and aggressive employees who were working...
Read moreAnother good place to visit. However, constantly busy and there was a long wait for ordering breakfast. But the food was good. A bit pricey but always try things at least once. I did love their long-sleeved shirts and bought two of them while we were waiting on food. I guess their coffee is the best in town. But I am a Puerto Rican who loves her home-grown coffee there and made with hot milk and lots of sugar. Something that no one else can really replicate. -----...
