If I could give zero stars for the customer service at this location, I would.
I visited the Spectrum store in La Quinta, and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had, all thanks to their store manager, Presilla Ramos.
I came in with a billing concern after signing up online for a promotional offer that was not being honored on my bill. Instead of helping, Presilla was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. When I asked simple questions, she rolled her eyes, laughed under her breath, and treated me like I was a nuisance, not a paying customer.
She told me she would “submit a ticket” and get back to me. I waited a long time while she disappeared in "the back", only to never follow up, never explain anything, and never offer any kind of resolution. Even after she came out from "the back". I left more frustrated than when I arrived.
This kind of behavior, especially from a "store manager" is unacceptable. I expected help and professionalism, but what I got was condescension, poor communication, and no resolution whatsoever.
I eventually received help from Spectrum corporate only after filing complaints with the FCC and BBB, but I never heard back from Presilla or the store, even after all that.
Avoid this location if you’re expecting respect, empathy, or accountability. Spectrum really needs to re-evaluate who they put in charge of their customer...
Read moreI went there on a Sunday (12/27/20) at around 3 pm and the two female employees were clueless as to how to manage the sudden increase in customers. One employee took a very long time talking to a customer who just wanted information on the wireless services and ended up not signing up anyway. The other also took her time explaining how to use the remote. It took me about 45 minutes just to exchange an old modem. When I was next in line, both employees were not even acknowledging me and then finally asked me if I have a reservation or if I registered up front and I felt like they even wanted me skipped for Hispanic-looking customers. They only took me in when I told them my name is up next in their monitor above. When I told an employee about the lack of info in front of the store to sign up or register first before lining up, she reasoned out that the administration has been slow to act upon it and said it has been a long problem of the store. I told her that I was just asking about a printed sign in front about it. The other employee was rude and told me not to have an argument because she is with customers who speak Spanish like her.
