Went to this bar/club with a friend for our birthday trip from Milwaukee. Came completely sober and left completely sober and severely disappointed. The first few bartenders we approached (both male, do not know their names ) were very nice. Drinks still tasted like juice, not much alcohol, however service was still nice. But once it was 1:20-30, my friend and I both came to the bar to get drinks before final call. As bartenders and servers in the industry ourselves, we know how stressful that period of time is. We came up and tried ordering drinks but a shorter blonde female bartender told us itās shots only at bar close. We looked to each other to figure out what shots to get but she hurried away. About 10 seconds later we already knew what we wanted and waited for one of the MANY bartenders to come back. Eventually about 15-20 minutes later, nobody came to us and they stopped serving. Disappointed as we waited for a bartender after just being informed that they only did shots at last calls, we approached a bartender to ask a question as we were ignored for 15-20 minutes of waiting. Her name was Anna and we tried to explain our situation when another short blonde bartender approaches us and says āno youāre done. Bye. Leave leave. Leave. Youāre doneā on and on again. Not even allowing closure of the situation that occurred with still 25-30 minutes til 2am. She was very rude and made us very uncomfortable. I slid my cup of now ice onto the bar which fell over the edge and walked away. While waiting for our Uber, Anna approaches me with my friend and shoves her phone in my face to take a photo of me and tells me Iām not allowed back. She proceeded to flip me off and yell āfuck youā and āyouāre a bitchā over and over again. We were in shock because service isnāt even this awful in MILWAUKEE. I understand being angry from an unintentional situation you believed to be purposeful, but as a person in the service, we KNOW protocol to not escalate a situation is to just ignore and move on. While we were waiting for our Uber and in pure shock, the initial small blonde bartender approaches and essentially did the same thing without taking a photo. Genuinely in shock. Horrible horrible horrible HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. If I could give 0 stars I would give 0 stars over and OVER again. Iām from Milwaukee and expected WAY WAY WAY more from JUST a club in Lake Delton. If I was the owner I would re-evaluate basic service skills, bartender skills, and who I hire. Very below average. Donāt waste your money on just the vibes and spend a tiny bit more for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDidn't try the food so I can't answer that. Was there for New Year's Eve. Music catered to a younger demographic of course, but being an artist & dancer myself, the music was not long enough. Why do DJs cut songs to only half their original lengths & on top of that, change it up from what we hear on the album/single/radio? I mean, I get that they want to be unique DJs themselves & that's what sets them apart; anyone can play the normal music, but these remixes...a little too out there!
Service was push & shove. Customers were not friendly either. It's great that the bartender tries to be personable & interact with the customers to get tipped well, but a little less on the interactions & more on the sales, please? A dollar more for an $11 tip from a customer taking 10 mins won't beat $30 from 3 customers in that same time.
Overall, maybe I'll go to try the food next time. But as far as being a club for dancing, I guess its the only one the Dells offers...but maybe I'd try the infamous, college-town, Madison next time since it's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOverall, an ok place, but won't go again. My group went on a Saturday night, they sent everyone through a metal detector scan and made the guys pull up their shirts to show their waistbands to check for firearms. This place had nicely priced drinks costing about $6 for a rail mix. Things I didn't like, were how it seemed like it was pretending to be something it wasn't, not very busy for a Saturday night. They had a dress code that we barely followed (as they weren't enforcing any of it), & $5 cover (which isn't bad). Honestly, the place was decorated like a club with poles and 'cages' along with a VIP section, but it just wasn't filled nor did it have the right crowd to be that kind of place. Seemed more like a ho-dunk town bar that would be fun for a bach party but nothing else. Very messy dance floor, even compared to other clubs and bars in downtown Chicago which are way more packed/busy. The DJ was playing nonstop 2012 hits, which is great, as long as transitions work and if they're actual songs you...
