Read moreCome for the cars, not for the employees. I came here to check out the custom cars in the shop. It was a delightful visit, until it wasn’t. The cars were beautiful and an older woman employee was super helpful and said if I had any questions, not to hesitate to ask. The “Patriot” was displayed as one of the customs, and just for reference this car is chopped in half lengthwise. I was very curious as to how they moved it to its current spot. I went over to the lady employee I had been conversing with and asked her if the vehicle was drive-able. She answered me very politely that it wasn’t and they kind of have to lean the car against the wall and they have left it there ever since it was put there just because it’s kinda tough to maneuver. I asked how they moved a car like that. There was a male employee next to her that said “She obviously didn’t look under the car” in a very condescending tone even though I was right in front of him. So I asked him “Is it brackets with wheels or something like that?” Instead of just explaining the setup, he said maybe you should go look at the car, that’s the whole reason the museum is here, and the whole point of the car being there. I responded “All I did was ask a question that you could have just answered.” He just kept telling me to go back to the car. After I walked around the museum and looked at the car again, I was kind of just done being there. This employee ruined my experience. As I passed him and the kind lady employee, he asked “Did you see it?” In a condescending tone once more. I didn’t look back at him, and I just said yeah and left. After I walked away he started laughing. I’m really disappointed with this experience. This is one of the many reasons why women are afraid of car culture because men assume women know nothing about cars. I was genuinely curious, all he had to say was yes or no. If you work at a place such as this, you should be welcoming of everyone no matter who they are. And you should always be willing to answer any questions, not dismiss someone just because they came up and asked. I’m definitely...
Read moreWe went to Vegas just to see this shop. I've been watching "Counting Cars" for years on the History Channel but seeing it in person was amazing. It's like seeing a picture of a mountain waterfall verses going to the mountain and seeing it live with all its glory. The talent of this group is unbelievable. I would love to have anything these guys produce, maybe with the exception of "Horney Mike's green bike", only because I couldn't have anything like that and not be able to ride it. His imagination has no limits. Ryan's abilities and attention to details has to be witnessed in person. If you thought it was amazing on TV just wait until you see it in person. If you love bikes, Shannon is your man unless you are a little twisted then Horney Mike might suit you better. The showroom was filled with vehicles such as Danny's choppers, his mom's 55 chevy convertible (respectfully restored), his dad's car, Elvira's T bird, Ziggy's Dad's Mercedes, Danny's black 32 he almost sold, Ryan's unbelievably painted 55 chevy drag car & panel truck, Danny's black Ford truck he used on the show to chase down future projects, the hot rod herst, Shelby Mustang& so much more. Missing was the 66 GTO convertible that was sold. I have a yellow 86 corvette with 48k original miles I would love to have Ryan's let his imagination run wild on. Unfortunately I'm 72 and should have already have made this a reality while I was able to afford it. Like the sign in the shop says "Your dream car should live in your garage,...
