The Marshall House has been beautifully preserved so you can see how one of the most important leaders of the 20th century lived. Marshall's leadership and intelligence were central not only to the Allied victory in World War II, but also to the post-war reconstruction of Europe. Despite his major role in world affairs, he was a humble man who tended to his own vegetable garden that is still active on his property today. The excellent 1.5 hour tour was led by a very knowledgable and friendly docent. Parking was free.
