I went to Best Buy at Park Meadows today Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Because I had May 17, 2024 purchased Beats Headphones. When I initially purchased the headphones at the Aurora Best Buy the representative asked me if I wanted to purchase the warranty . I have for years been a loyal customer of Best Buy , always bought their warranties and labtop, computers, copiers, game systems, vacuums and so on and always gotten warranties . I have never had any problems in the past. I called Customer Service Best Buy to advice them what was going on with the headphones and to ask if I can return it at any Best Buy store, because I work and when I get off I am not close to the Aurora Best Buy and the close at 6 pm. The representative said yes, I could return it at the any Best Buy because I have warranty and they would just replace it. I had advised her i did not have the receipt, she said that was okay just show them my identification and i would have no problems. So I went to the Best Buy at Lonetree at Park Meadows, since it was closer after work. I walk in not knowing where return area was , I was going to ask a representative at the desk is this where I do the return. and the representative Miguel before I could ask him a question tells me he is going to help the next person in line. And so I advised him , I was not going in front of the gentleman , I was not even at the desk . I was just going to ask him is this where you do a return. So than he said yes. Than I get in line and the next representative ask how she can help me, I advise her that I purchased these headphones and need to return them because they are not working. She than ask me if I had the receipt of purchase and I said no, but before coming here a few days ago I called Best Buy customer service and the representative verified that I had purchased the warranty and she said I just need to show my identification for the return. And than Best Buy the store would return it. So she looks up my account and she said you bought a Apple Warrenty. And I told her I bought theses headphones at Best Buy in Aurora and they asked me if I wanted to purchase a warranty, which I did and that representative at the time said if anything happens to the headphones , I just bring it to Best Buy and they will replace it. The representative than at Best Buy at Lonetree tells me did I get the new ones, I want to exchange it with and than I told her no, because I was bringing the old ones up first for her to verify my information . So than she tells me to go get the new headphones , so than I go on the floor and a nice representative helps me with getting the new ones . So than the representative brings it to the representative at the counter. And than she than tells me she needs a override and she goes to the Miguel representative to do a override but than he said he cannot do it because it is Apple Warrenty, than I advised him what the phone Customer Representative said about i could return at the store . So i ask for. Manager and than he goes on the floor and talking to two people. And than he comes back with a Supervisor and I explain to him the situation and he says it is a Apple Warrenty , and again i advise him I spoke to Customer Service at Best Buy who said that I can return it in the store and get a replacement . So he didn't want to help, I asked for a Manager again and than I get Britney Charley a Manager and I tell her the situation and than she tells me she would have helped me but because I was not nice to her employees, she won't . I could not believe she just said what she said. I told her I was not rude to your employees, I have just explained the situation what I was told by customer service over the phone . And what I receiving is bad customer service . She than tells me she has to follow procedures and has to return the headset back to Apple. And they have to replace it. She could have overridden it, but she was being the one difficult and insulting my intelligence after she had said she could have helped me if I would have been nice to...
Read moreHands down the worst experience I've ever had with a major appliance delivery. We purchased our refrigerator in February, I'm writing this at the end of April and we still don't have a valid resolution. The delivery team came to deliver the first fridge, disconnected the water lines, asked me to come outse and they showed me the damage to the fridge. We told them we would not take delivery of a damage item and they left, leaving us with a pool world water and disconnected water lines. We called Best Buy and was informed that we would have to call the next day as the fridge was in delivery status. On my way to Nebraska the next day I called, was told this all rescheduling needed to be done in person, so I had to turn around drive back two hours to have a new one scheduled. New fridge shows up. Wife inspects it for damage and there is none. We think we got a winner, boy were we wrong. The delivery team refused to listen to us and decided it would be a good idea to try to ram the fridge through the front door even though the dimensions would not allow. As one can imagine the refrigerator was scratched but at this point we had no other option but to accept delivery. We were told this would not be a problem and they called their damage appliance hotline. We spoke to a representative who told us that somebody would be able to come out and replace the doors. We just had to call the next day to schedule the timing. I called the next day and spent over 2 hours on the phone with three different teams who all explained to me that this was not a valid option. Best buy got Samsung involved and Samsung told them that this was not something that was covered under warranty. Something I attempted to explain to them as well. Keep in mind that all of these call centers are in India or somewhere where English is not their native language. I attempted too explain to them that the delivery team were the ones that damage the refrigerator and that it should be covered by Best Buy. At this point the Samsung rep told the Best Buy rep that they could go pound sand and this is something that needed to be taken care of internally. Two hours into the conversation Best Buy decided that they were going to reschedule a delivery for fridge number three. At this point I told them that some sort of compensation would have to be given due to the fact that I have missed time from work They have damaged my property they damaged my new fridge and they pretty much do not clean up or follow any of their so-called guidelines for covid or really just common sense. The cherry on top of our conversation was when the representative attempted to collect more tax from me. I asked her to explain to me why I would need to pay more tax if we were just doing an exchange. After a quick back and forth she decided that it was in her best interest to get that removed. So to wrap up this review I would highly recommend that you avoid the Best Buy delivery teams due to the fact that you could borrow a cement mixer fill it with gravel stick and appliance in there and get it to your house with less damage than what these delivery teams have managed to do so far. Also if you are unfortunate enough to have to use their delivery teams make sure you open all of your doors and windows to allow the house or your domicile to air out once they are done. I understand that they work in hot condition as do I but the use of deodorant or any other BO preventing items might not be their top priority. I am not opposed to having call centers in other parts of the world. The one thing that I do ask is make sure that everybody is on the same page. There is no reason why I've spoken to four different customer service representative and got a four different answers for each one of them often...
Read moreI would be very cautious about buying from Best Buy at Lone Tree Please read on about my recent experience starting on September 28, 2023. We purchased a complete kitchen appliance setup. Price and service in the Lone Tree store was fine. It's the delivery installation nightmare and the lack of customer service from Best Buy i want to warn you about. I am guessing that Best Buy outsourced the delivery and installation, because not like the Geek Squad these folks had nothing on their clothing or vehicles that would have identified them as a person from Best Buy. The only clue was, they had our appliances we had purchased from Best Buy. Now the nightmare..a little more than 2 weeks before the September 28 delivery of the appliances we had the entire main floor of the house wood floors repaired and redone, that included the area in the kitchen where the old dishwasher had failed and ruined the wood floor. The delivery and installation on 9/28 went well for the refrigerator, microwave and stove. The installer failed installing new dishwasher correctly. I questioned him about the install and that was the best he could do and left the house. The kickplate at the bottom of the new dishwasher could not be attached properly. If it was you could not open the dishwasher door. DAMAGE from this installer was: granite counter top edge by the dishwasher, scratches on the floor, the top edge of the dishwasher door and water spillage. I contacted Best Buy, the same company they had hired but different person came to the house on 10/10 to look at the dishwasher. He was able to install the dishwasher correctly, except when I wanted a demo of the dishwasher, (DAMAGE AGAIN) gallons of water spilled on the newly finished/repaired wood floors because he forgot to put the drain hose from the dishwasher into the house drain. We dried the floor the best we could and used fans to dry the wood floor. I have contacted/called Best Buy customer service 3 times went into the Lone Tree Best Buy store and spoke with a Manager about this issue. Every time you get yes we will open a claim and someone will contact you with 24 to 48 hours. NO ONE HAS MADE AN EFFORT TO CONTACT ME ABOUT THE DAMAGE! ITS BEEN SEVERAL DAYS BEYOND THE 24 TO 48 HOURS Best Buy says they will contact you. In summary the damages are: (1) Top of new dishwasher door is damaged (2) The area in front of the new dishwasher the granite counter top is chipped in a few places (3) The floor in front slightly to the right of the dishwasher is scratched in several places due to the 1st installer trying to use a SawSaw as a tool to use for installing the dishwasher. (4) The wood floor in front of the sink and dishwasher from all the water being poured on it from the 1st and 2nd installers there are warped boards that have to be replaced and refinished. Mind ya, we just had the entire main floor repaired from water damage and refinished from the old dishwasher about 2 weeks before the appliance delivery on 9/28. At the time of this review 10/5, unless I reach out to Best Buy, NO ONE FROM Best Buy has contacted me about coming over even to look at the damage. New to the delivery process you do not sign anything saying you accept the job when the installation, delivery is complete. My only recourse at this time, this is to you Best Buy, I will stop making payments on the appliances until this issue is resolved. I am not one of those folks who write reviews all the time. In this situation because of the terrible experience I wanted to do this review to warn other customers. Maybe other Best Buy stores are better, but this is my situation dealing with Best Buy Lone Tree. Will update this review if...
