Outer Limits Tattoo — Attraction in Long Beach

For a little over a year, I'd had a very specific idea for a tattoo and I finally decided to go for it when I saw the beautiful work of Outer Limits' Charlene Hsu-Rodriguez on Instagram (her @ is FloralAndInks).

My entire experience with Charlene and Outer Limits was incredible. Charlene was always very open to collaborate and work with me on my vision for the piece. While we worked out the details of how it would look, Charlene had this perfect combination of voicing her opinions and concerns, all-the-while never making me feel pressured to change my mind about anything. I always felt like I had the final say, and that my choice would be fully respected and supported. Also, having spent over 12 hours there, I can easily say Outer Limits' other staff, and the establishment itself is incredibly friendly and professional.

Not only is Charlene an incredible artist, but she's also such a wonderful person. My piece took a long time to complete, and even while focusing completely on her work, we had some incredible chats about so many different things. Went in on Nov 8, 2017 to get my very first tattoo, had an idea what I wanted and how it was going to be done, The tattoo had to be done in 2 sessions which I didn't mind. I'm very pleased with how my tattoo was done, it came out really good. I want to thank Tasi who was the artist who tattooed me that day, very friendly patient and really professional specially since she had to do a lot of circles on my back fore-arm including the shading part as well lolz. I definitely plan on coming back for my second tattoo, did a lot searching for a good parlor and this was the best place with highly qualified experienced artist. I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Yvonne. She was a perfectionist and made me feel completely comfortable when getting my first tattoo. I had to wait quite a long time with COVID shut downs, but it was ultimately worth it. Yvonne emailed back and forth with me for months about the design and then walked me through her detailed process in person. As for the actual tattoo... the craftsmanship and clean lines are unparalleled and my healing process was so smooth. My tattoo actually never peeled which is a major credit to Yvonne's needlework and careful shading. My advice to you is book an appointment asap with Yvonne... you won't regret the experience and will leave with one of the best tattoos for the rest...
