Today we went to see super Mario brothers because I did not want to drive any further to a different theater the last time I went there was nice and clean today. The poor manager was working harder than the employees were. It was a disaster. There was trash all over the place popcorn all over the place it was filthy. The bathrooms were full of water, because someone broke the water pipe, and the poor manager didn’t know what to do because he didn’t have enough employees for the company, and he did not provide enough employees for him not sure which one but it was horrific and to make things worse. My wife had to stand in line for almost 40 minutes. To get popcorn for my son and drinks so she missed 40 minutes of the movie because there wasn’t enough help thank you regency honestly, that was one of the worst experience that I’ve ever had. And as a customer, I apologize to you guys because we are slobs and pigs. Not including myself, because What people do to your bathrooms and to your floors would not do to their house or to their bathroom and to allow their kids to make a huge mess in the bathroom or anywhere it’s just ridiculous this is a huge thing and it comes with the responsibility of being a parent where you teach your kids manners and obviously by the looks of the theater today and the bathroom was horrible. I hope that you guys can get that poor Manager some help because he was running around. Like a chicken with no head. He was trying to do 1 million things at once. And he had no help so kudos to that manager and good luck to you...
Read moreThey wrongfully towed our car while we were watching a movie inside.
On September 14, 2022, my wife and my daughter went to watch Brahmastra movie at the Van Nuys theaters. The last showing that ended at 10:37pm. They parked in front of the movie theater. In the theater it was just them and another family. When they came out, both of their cars were towed. It seems they were redoing the parking lot at 10pm. There was ZERO signage anywhere. To make things worse, before their cars were towed, the security asked the one person (manager, Noe) working at the theater about the cars and he said the movie doesn't end until 10:20. Any reasonable person would have gone into the theater where there were only two families and warned them that their cars would be towed. Again, there was ZERO signage anywhere. No warning from the employee and nothing done to alleviate the issue. We now have to go get our cars from impound and pay $195. How is that in any way ok? We are all fuming.
I had to go to pick these 2 young females who were stranded on the street in not so desirable area of the town at almost middle of the night.
I had to take off from my work on 09/15 to be able to take my wife to the Keystone towing. My wife could not go to work either because of not having her car, her only transport.
In no way was any of this is acceptable and in no way should we be out $195 plus our time travelling to and from everywhere. Me & wife had to take off from work on 09/15 & lost our...
Read moreI let my first terrible experience slide, but now that I have had two terrible experiences I see that it's more than just a rare occasion. The first time, I went to see the mule and the movie had several issues playing througout the whole time. I decided to leave and go to a different theatre. When I went to get a refund I overheard the manager over an employees walkie talkie giving him orders to give tickets to another movie or showing, me and the rest of the people there refused that offer and the staff seemed very hesitant on giving us our well-deserved refund. The second time was last night at the detective pikachu showing where my card was malfunctioning and I asked them to manually put the card on the computer, I asked numerous times as to why they could not do that and the only reason that was given was that "the manager wouldn't allow that" and I asked to speak to the manager and I was that I was only going to be given the same response, that she cannot do that. However, I've had it been done before and it did not affect anything. From my experiences it seems that the management is not good, they do not seem to have any of the new payment methods (wireless payment services such as: google pay and apple pay). If those reasons weren't enough the actual theatre isn't worth the full price of a tickets, any other theatre with the same ticket pricing gives a much better experience than this place. Last time I ever attend a showing...
