By far the best experience I have had. Juan was very kind enough to allow me to book an appointment a day before!!!

Parking should be no issue as there is a parking structure located in the same plaza. Upon arrival, you will have to wait outside to be picked up by your specialist.

Juan was quick to pick me up, and when I got to his studio, it blew me away. The design, color, and lights made it stand out from any other place I’ve been.

I showed him a picture of how I wanted my hair, and he got started. Throughout the haircut, Juan was always focused on my hair and there was never a quiet awkward silence because there was music playing (which was 🤩) as well as a conversation taking place. Before you know it, he was done and I loved it!!! I’ve never had a beard trim (as I don’t have that much facial hair), but because I knew he did a great job on my hair, I said why not… Again, loved it, so I will definitely be doing it again! I was in dire need of removing my eyebrows and Juan told me he also did eyebrow waxing. I normally get them threaded and never got them waxed. It didn’t take much effort for me to say yes, as both services turned out great. Waxing does not hurt at all, and YET AGAIN, eyebrows looked amazing!!

So I was recommended to Unique Hair Studio from a colleague of mine for an emergency last minute haircut to fix a bad cut I got from a barbershop. I had a few big appointments lined up and professional headshots for work all scheduled for that coming weekend so I was panicking. It was a blessing in disguise though because now I get my haircut ONLY at Unique Hair Studio! I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I told him how I like my hair to be cut, what I don't like about my hair, and pointed out the terrible parts of the previous haircut. He took his time, was very professional in his approach and he didn't get intimidated, he was eager to help! After spending some time with him, not only was he able to fix my bad cut, he gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in my life. After moving to LA in 2015 I needed to start the search for a new stylist, and it wasn't easy. I would hunt down different salons and barbershops online and read the reviews and majority of the time I would end up with cuts that I over paid for and still didn't love, but now "haircut day" is my favorite day again! Writing reviews isn't my usual thing, but I just had to share my amazing experience at this salon. It's hands down the best one I've been to in LA, in my humble opinion. The vibe there is just awesome – you can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in. Now, let me tell you about Juan, the barber extraordinaire. This guy is truly gifted. Not only did he give me the exact cut I asked for, but he went above and beyond by tailoring it to my face shape. That kind of attention to detail is hard to come by these days.
