The Banyan Tree is such a beautiful and peaceful site. There is seating around the tree and different shops and exhibits nearby. It is a ‘must see’ if you are in the Lahaina area. It is a well-preserved and historic tree, so please do not climb or swing on it’s branches because it is incredibly disrespectful to everyone. I noticed that children were climbing the tree when I visited and it was infuriating considering all the signs that explicitly mentioned that climbing and swinging are prohibited.
