Aloha Thai Massage — Local services in Maui

Given all the rave reviews, I had figured it would be worth it to give this place a try as it was my first time in Maui. Bad mistake. I had asked for a deep tissue massage and ended up with my masseuse gliding her fingers over my shoulders, arms, and legs. I paid over $100 for a 60 minute massage that was not even a deep tissue massage. After 20 minutes, I even asked that the masseuse to use more force but the pressure stayed the same. Very disappointed in the massage overall. Otherwise, 2 stars due to the fact that it was air conditioned, they greeted us when we entered the parlor. Another con - They only accept cash. When I offered to pay with my debit/credit card, the Asian lady at the cash register told me to go to the ATM on Front St to withdraw some cash. I wish this would have been made clear from the beginning or at least posted...

The best massage I've ever had! Including on Maui and the mainland before moving to Maui a couple years ago! Called and booked a couples massage for my husband and I while I was 33 weeks pregnant. Pa was able to get us in the next day, and I had her for my massage. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time lying on my side. I had never had a Thai massage, and her techniques quickly became my favorite part of the massage. I've never had anyone else get the tension out of my neck and shoulders like Pa did during my massage! She made me feel like a new mama! Definitely recommend her to anyone, especially other pregnant mamas wanting some relaxation and relief! She was so kind and her prices were great too! Thanks so much Pa, can't wait to get on your calendar for next time! I look forward to supporting and becoming a regular...

Avoid like a plague!

I don’t leave reviews, I usually ghost through comments, but jeez, I’m on vacation and people need to be aware of this; please don’t be scammed like I and my wife was. Complete waste of money and scam. Spent over $100 on the combination massage which consisted of dumping copious amounts of cheap oil; while proceeding to “massage” by swirling said copious amounts of cheap oil all over the place. Please...don’t trust these 5 star reviews.. if you do feel inclined to donate 100-200 dollars of your money to have oil painted on you, feel free to lol. Yes whoever the owner of this place is, the only thing to rectify this mistake is a full refund, and then paying us for 105 for wasting an hour of our hard earned vacation. 1 star is for the free water.
