This place is good! This isn’t the biggest place, and when you do dine here, just a warning that it can be a bit smoky inside, but the food and service was really good. We waited only a little amount of time as they prepared our table, and they gave children’s plates and utensils which was quite nice of them. I wanted to try to many different things on the menu, based on the reviews on yelp and luckily I was able to take some of those recommendations.
Food So we ordered the following items Cold Sake- Nothing really to say but it was cold and refreshing. Should have gotten the large instead of the small! I saw a lot of other people also drinking many different beers and wines at this place as well. Mental Pasta- This was so interesting, and delicious. I had never really tried something like this before, but the noodles was cooked prepared just right and the sauce was so good. They even had two small bowls of Parmesan Cheese and Red Crushed Peppers to be able to put into the dish. Definitely recommend this item! Surf and Turf - NY Steak and Shrimp - I did not know what to expect when ordering this, but it was really good. I liked how it had so many different food in on the plate. The rice was fluffy, the steak was so tender. The shrimp was pretty good too, and I liked that there was some greens with the dish. I noticed a lot of Hawaiian dishes does not include too much vegetables. The corn they have included was so sweet!
Again the place is not that big, but they have a good amount of tables. The places decoration was great. I love eating at places that takes my away from where I currently am, as if I am in a different world. If I visit Maui again, I would love to...
Read moreSmall little Japanese restaurant in a strip mall and inside it's quaint. I think a lot of people pass this place up because of their next door business competitor but this place is really nice and delicious.
I was astounded by the fact that there was pasta dishes here but Japanese style pasta dishes are a thing and I would try it the next time I'm ever in Kihei, it's just that I was in the mood for Japanese food that I decided to pass this time around. It being a smaller place, service was good as they could see me ask for anything we needed. They were able to accommodate my little one with baby needs, like kids water and plastic utensils. Food was good, I had Japanese curry and a bottle of Sake, chicken karrage for the lil one and then ramen for the lady.
I think, however that the menu is rotating and I'm not able to verify that until I make another Hawaii trip. I posted a menu picture but I don't know how up to date that would be. Overall, I would come back to try other things. I put only 4 stars because I didn't love my dish but it was still good, yet the family enjoyed theirs so I'm not scared to say that this place...
Read moreThe BEST Effin STEAK EVER!!! Looking for good QUALITY steak, cooked to perfection, soft like butter, & the dipping sauce you get 🤤🤤🤤 shiiiiiiit will take you to heaven & back, This the place to get it. I'd take it OVER outback(shhhhhhh🤣) any day. The customer service is ALWAYS on point, the cooks do an awesome job, the ambience is comfortable/welcoming, & the food is simple but beyond BOOOMB. The shio butter Ramen is ono and so warming to the body, pizzas are ono, & the steak is my ultimate favorite. Definitely make this a stop when your own Maui. Although the restaurant is hard to get in due to the pandemic & being booked out, make your reservation ASAP prior to your arrival, don't be a KAREN because you can't get in, & write bad about a business, because you EXPECT businesses to bow down, wrong place for that, be mindful of others dealing with the same. When we mean support the local business,...
