I walked by and saw they sell coffee and pastries. I decided to give them a try. The decor was spacious, clean and chic. I went over the bake goods display to see what options I had. I decided a dulce de leche croissant. The cashier tells me it’s sold out despite having the label next to a croissant. Then after receiving my old harden croissant I thought for the price it came with butter or jelly. Nope. I had to ask for it and they charge for it. I didn’t have cash and didn’t want to charge jelly to my credit card. After I order they gave me a number, I sat outside thinking the staff will bring out our food and drinks. Nope. It wasnt busy at all. After approximately 20 min I had to go inside and bring out our drinks despite being pressured into tipping them $6!!! Bc they have the preset % buttons. Why not put dollar amount $1-3 instead?? No bc they are greedy!!
To sum it up. It’s expensive, the staff doesn’t show any aloha spirit. Majority are Argentines and aren’t engaged with the local culture. They are so monotone and not charismatic . (They aren’t locals, much of Maui isn’t). Costco has way better croissants. Just go next door to the Krakem coffee truck. They are nicer, have a rewards card system and their coffee is delicious. The only silver lining was the cappuccino. It...

I even checked the glass jar thinking maybe I had broken it while opening it (I hadn't). When I talked to the servers, the girls there were very polite, one offered a replacement (which I didn't want, because of the glass). I requested for a refund which they gave (only for the juice and nothing else). One of the guys there didn't believe me and turned up his nose at me (which is understandable because there are some people who do that - but I don't believe in cheating hardworking people, my reviews are your proof) PLEASE PLEASE check the bottom of the canned jars before you buy.
OWNERS: I humbly request you to check your juice jars. The beetoven glass jar I bought had at least 2 pieces of glass in it. This can easily hurt someone and have dire consequences.
Other than the above, the food was good. We had nutella filled croissant (excellent), caprese sandwich (loved it), avocado smashed toast (my kid loved it) and a breakfast sandwich (very good). The taste of the beethoven juice was very good too (except for the glass in it of course). The food was expensive which is...
Read moreDon't order the waffle... Unless you'd like some Log Cabin, or Ms. Butter-worth's fake maple flavored high fructose corn syrup slurry on it. I made the mistake of dumping the entire portion cup on my waffle before taking a bite and realizing I'd been had. I ended up just eating half of it with some honey to mask the fake maple flavor. They were apologetic, but also rudely asked if I was from Canada. As if Canadian folks would be the only ones offended by being falsely advertised to about maple syrup? The bacon here is shamelessly microwaved, and is very low quality compared to any other restaurants nearby. Dare I say that even McDonald's microwaved bacon is better? Stear clear unless you like being misled, let down, and left still craving what you actually wanted to eat this morning! Spent $30, left a $5 tip. Only ate...
