Unfortunately, the low ratings for this Jeep dealership reflect exactly what you get. I dropped my car off for diagnostics on an engine cooling issue and potential battery problem - this was on a Monday. I was told by the service advisor, John, that it was “24 hours out for diagnostics.” 24 hours later… zero calls or texts. So I call to get an update. The advisor was short and said “I have no info so can’t tell you anything .” Pretty unhelpful and pretty short. So I call again the next day. Same story. By Wednesday I called again, got the same response, and that the car hadn’t even been looked at yet. I returned to the service center in person Wednesday ready to pick up the vehicle to take it elsewhere and they said it “was dead and needed to be jumped” to even get it off the lot, then promised it was next in line to look at and I would have news that evening or the next morning at the latest. Well, no surprise, there was no news or communication on progress from that point. I texted the service advisor asking to put the main battery on a trickle charger so it didn’t sit discharged risking damage and failure. Zero response to that text. By Friday, after calling repeatedly all week and taking the initiative to get updates, I was told it was ready and zero problems were found. I show up, the service advisor seemed annoyed and done with me. I pressed back on the zero problems found since they told me the car was dead on Wednesday. He seemed smugly sure it wasn’t my car and that I wasn’t told correct info as he cut me off and shut me down. He left to get my keys and came back admitting that the battery was in fact dead and needed to be replaced. I had to wait another hour in total for what was supposedly a car with zero problems. To top off the completely terrible experience, the advisor tried to make me pay for his mistake and the entire service team’s neglect. Awful and just completely unacceptable.
Overall, what a nightmare experience. 5 days to replace what was a battery issue? No service manger apologies. No complimentary rental or shuttle offered. Zero communication. Short tempered service advisor. Dysfunctional service team. Do yourself a favor and take your Jeep to Huffines in Plano. It’ll save you a completely unpleasant and unprofessional experience....
Read morePLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! I brought my jeep in over a month or so ago for a clunking noise coming from the rear gears. They diagnosed it as the ring and pinion and differentials. And said they were not going to cover it as those are after market parts. So I then took it to the place where I got those two parts. And they did a diagnosis and told me those parts were fine. And said there was an issue with the rear axle locker and the spyder gears. They keep trying to engage on their own. And that the bearings and axles needed to be replaced. And those are jeep parts. So I then took it to the Frisco Jeep dealership and they did a diagnosis and told me roughly the same thing and that there are metal savings in the rear gears. And those are all Jeep parts and would be covered under warranty. But the after market parts were not the issue. The tech who did the diagnosis neglected the real issues of my car because they don’t want to deal with warranty issues. If I would have went with the diagnosis of this dealership it could have ruined my car. I have spent too much money on my car and warranties for them to treat me like a nuisance. And then at the end of it the wrong diagnosis they tried to get me to pay 400 dollars!! When I was not made aware until I tried to pick up my vehicle. Take your car to a different dealership! I have been out of a car...
Read moreI used to be strictly a Ford guy, but after how poorly I have been treated at Bob Tomes & the fact that every time we took our Flex in for service, parts would come back broke, I decided to try Dodge City. The people here have been nothing short of awesome, making us feel welcome, working with us on the price of my truck & the service department has done an excellent job of maintaining my truck, without breaking anything or claiming rats ate some part.
I haven't dealt with the used car department, so I can't speak to them, but I have worked with Anthony Addy & dealt John Eldred (I think that is how you spell it, sorry if I messed that up John!) and they are both excellent guys with a great sense of humor, which helped make the time fly by!
Update: I was called in to possibly sell my truck & honestly, they are still the same great folks who are not high pressure sales types. I seriously enjoy coming here & I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about buying a new vehicle, because these folks treat you like family & go that extra...
