★★★☆☆ Decent Shopping Center with Room for Improvement

Eastgate Shopping Center in Memphis is a convenient spot for shopping and services, but it has its pros and cons.

Safety: The area is generally safe during the day, but like many places in Memphis, it’s wise to stay aware of your surroundings, especially in the evenings. There’s some security presence, but not as much as you’d see in larger shopping centers.

Cleanliness: The shopping center is relatively clean, though some areas could use more frequent maintenance. Trash cans are available, but they aren’t always emptied as often as they should be.

Variety of Stores: There’s a decent mix of retail stores, restaurants, and service providers, including grocery stores, fitness centers, and specialty shops. However, don’t expect a high-end or trendy shopping experience—it’s more of a practical destination for everyday needs.

Parking: Parking is usually easy to find, with plenty of spaces available. However, some parts of the lot could use repaving, and the lighting at night isn’t the best.

Amenities: The center has the basics, such as public restrooms and a few seating areas, but it’s not a place you’d go to for entertainment or leisure. There aren’t many shaded areas or spots to relax outside of the businesses themselves.

Grounds & Decorations: The landscaping is minimal, and while the property is functional, it lacks charm. It could benefit from some updated signage and better upkeep of the common areas to make it feel more welcoming.

Overall, Eastgate Shopping Center is a solid option for running errands or grabbing a quick bite, but it doesn’t offer much beyond that. It’s functional but could use some upgrades in safety, aesthetics, and maintenance to make it a more appealing...

It's always a shop stop in my way to the pad when I'm utilizing the MATA system, you got your dry cleaners your dollar tree, Little Caesars Pizza, a Veterinarian, who seems to have a lot of business, I think they do the grooming and pet hotel thing there LOL. There were refurbishing one of the bigger stores for some kind of outlet andyou didn't pick up groceries or sit down and have dinner at one of the restaurants there, across the street there's also a GameStop & AutoZone across the street.great location for anybody in that area to get any needs you want there is also a Home Depot behind the mall as well as a Kroger, so if you're visiting in the area that's the spot to get a few things done on your things to do Lists, oh there is also a Firestone Tire shop/ full service on the Corner of Park and Truse Rd./ Mt.Moriah.! two thumbs up,👍👍 for the Eastgate shopping center and staying open for the community and visitors from abroad, Thank you, Thank you very much!! don't forget Graceland is down the street go say "HEY" to Elvis the king Presley!! And leave him a note on...

I needed a truck to move about 5 pieces of large furniture. The price they have for a flat bed $21+ change this includes the taxes for 75 minutes. Which was great! You do have to make sure you bring the truck fuel level back from where you started so my suggestion would be to go to the closest Home Depot and have your items ready to move on the truck. One downside to this is that you can't schedule the truck in advance. You must call to see if it is there and they will hold it for 30 minutes for you. You also must have car insurance and a debit or credit card. This Home Depot would not allow me to pay my bill with cash once done, one I used before in Mid-town did. So you may want to check locations for that as well. Oh one more thing, they all open up at 6 a.m. so you can check before they close to see if they have it or drive by before they open if you need it in the morning. They have lots of rental equipment too. A very handy department for us...

Nice shopping center with plenty of stores in it. There are mix of clothing stores, shoe stores, offices, and other retail space. There are also several restaurants in or around the shopping center. There is plenty of parking and if this space doesn't have what you're looking for, you can find something else close by.

I went to Firestone Complete Care on Park the only one I recommend personally. They changed out my leaky coolant overflow storage and the faulty thermostat. Also went to Firehouse Subs (better than the one on Union!) And a store called Tuesday Morning pictured below

There's a woman who went out her way to help me. I only buy copper wire from there & every time I visit that store, there's really no one on the aisle to help me but once I grab the attention from another staff member, they give me no issues.
