My favorite Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Dollar Tree, Big Lots and more, just to mention a few of the great stores at The Market of Wolf Chase. I love it. I like that the Best Buy doesn't smell like the candle store five feet away. I love that the Asian restaurant doesn't smell like a coffee shop. I like that the energy is different in each store and that it doesn't leach into the the walls of the one next to it. So what is it's cold or rainy? I don't melt and I know how to use a coat or an umbrella. I loved the Mall's! I did! But they seem so tired and so very much like copies of each other and they blend into a blur. I still love the giants, MACY'S, DILLARD'S, SEARS. But all those little stores crammed together and those kiosks in the middle of it all. Like little thatched huts with personal stalkers in the middle trying to catch your eye and maybe grab your arm. Makes me think of every scary fairy tale the Brothers Grimm ever wrote. Nope, for me the malls are fine memories of seeing my middle school, high school, and college friends and crushes and not having to make sure every thing I bought was cool and looked exactly like my other fifteen friends outfits. Or my new electronic gadget had been ordered way back when. So I could have the first and only one of "it" in my group. For about five minutes maybe. Because all my friends had ordered theirs too. With Mom and Dad's credit card. So, now when I shop, I either walk or drive a about 50 or 75 feet and walk into a totally different smelling and different sounding store. I love getting out of the fishbowl of a way too close shopping experience and breathing fresh or sometimes muggy or freezing air and walking into a totally different building. Makes me feel like I've traveled a little farther than I really have too. Plus the stores feel so much bigger...
Read moreI purchased a Canon Selphy on 10/21/23. I made a return on 10/23/23.The security was friendlier than customer service. He spoke and made jokes. The customer service female was not friendly. She didn't speak..simply said come over here.I opened the box and handed her the receipt. She said what am I supposed to do with this?I stated I want to return. She dismantled the box contents including taking out the printer, verified the mfg # matched, checked receipt, checked the box with the printer mfg ..all this twice drawing out the time then dropped the printed in the box..not careful at all. Did all that verification and to treat the printer like that made me feel even worse than a sneaky thief I was already feeling. She hands me the receipt and says you will have the money returned in 3 to 5 days. Not a Thank you....not Have a good evening....Come back again....nothing...not a smile. She had more conversation with the Geek Squad employee than me. Good customer service to me, is acknowledging your presence, greeting, how may I help you(instead of what am I supposed to do with this),keeping the customer aware of what needs to be done with your return and thanking or asking them to return for upcoming seasonal sale or asking them to sign up for Best Buy app for future...
Read moreWe visited here in search of my son, a stereo system for his 02 Accord. This place is a little scarce on stock due to them turning this location into a receiving warehouse. But we were able to find a very knowledgeable representative near the TVs. He was able to get us a touch screen stereo with all new speakers for significantly less than the quote we received from Sound Waves. And installation was free. They had everything in stock and scheduled us for the install as well. The only thing that I did not like was that installation was at least a week out. And Installation didn't start until 11 am. Which means I had to leave from work to go to my son's school to check him out to drive to BB to drop off his car and then check him back into school. It was a hassle, but it was worth it. They had it done before the end of the day, as they promised. They also put all of the OG equipment in his trunk. The system sounds great, and my son is happy. This is a pre-pay service just in case anyone is wondering. You will have to be prepared to purchase all of the necessary equipment when you are there. But it was a great experience and I...
