Salon Ethos — Attraction in Miami

I was recommended to this salon by Christa, who’s hair is always perfect. She recommended me to see Bryan, and upon booking, he was fully booked for the next 2 months. My hair was an absolute mess. The lady helping me with booking (Laura) was amazing. I told her how I preferred to come sooner and she asked for pictures of my hair, and was able to pair me with a stylist who she thought would be a great fit. My hair is a project, so it’s not a simple job. She paired me with Yanin, and After 5 minutes in her chair, I already knew I was in good hands. She was very knowledgeable and told me exactly the plan she had for my hair. She Also didn’t rush when the salon was about to close and stayed after salon hours to finish my hair. Her, Laura, and Jessie stayed and treated me like family! My hair came out beautiful, and I was so happy! I was so happy with Laura listening and understanding what I wanted, I had to tip her to! Haha. Yanin also really listened to what I wanted and gave her inputs and really made my whole experience comfortable and smooth! And she is also one of few in Miami that did not leave my hair orange! I left with nice tones of dark and light blondes. (My hair pulls red/orange) I’m glad I found a place with people who do great work, and also take pride in their work. I already have my next appointment and will definitely be recommending them...

I loved my experience at Salon Ethos. The receptionist, assistant who washed my hair, and stylist were all friendly and professional. I am a Miami native who just moved back to the city after 9 years away. I was eager to find a stylist in Miami who would offer funky cuts, understand my hair texture/curl, and not pressure me to straighten it. I was very excited to find Will at Salon Ethos and I love the cut and style he gave me. I've been to several "curly hair " salons in the past and always felt like the stylist spoke about curly hair from a detached place; like it was a foreign/alien science experiment. Will, on the other hand, speaks about curly hair from an intimate place. He has professional and personal experience with curly hair that made me feel very comfortable trusting any tips/advice he offered. Also (some with curly hair may be able to relate to this) this was the first time I was able to leave the salon with my hair actually styled attractively! Recieved a beautiful haircut and blow out by William. He delivered exactly what I asked for, given the pictures I showed him and what I could explain. It took less than an hour start to finish. The place is clean and the people are very nice.

Total cost was 190$ (Long Wavy Hair; including tip) Staff was hospitable and friendly, offered beverages (Soda, Water, etc)

I wouldve given 5 stars if it werent for these aspects (considering the price-- I expected a little more)

-More dialogue between myself and my hair dresser. Besides asking me what I would like done, it was pretty much silence the rest of the time. I was hoping for some tips, suggestions, etc.. but I recieved none even when asking "What do You think?". I used to just trim my ends and nothing more, so I lacked confidence in what I was asking for.
