Went out tonight with my wife to La Frontera. We've been here a couple of times in the past but thought we'd give it another try. We walked in and they sat us immediately, the guy was very polite. The waitress quickly came out and got our drink order and gave us the chips and salsa. The chips have some kind of chili powder and seasonings on them, had a pretty good flavor. The salsa has a little kick to it. We ate them pretty quick, so the waitress brought us another bowl and basket. I ordered their large combination platter ($11.00) with a bean tostada, cheese enchilada, taco, burrito, chile verde, rice and beans. The burrito, enchilada, tostada, rice and beans were good. The "beef" taco was NOT good ate all. Not sure what was in it (pureed ground beef). Definitely would not get their beef tacos. My wife got their chicken fajitas with 2 soft shell tacos, rice, beans, guacamole and sour cream. When they came out they looked really good. Unfortunately they were very bland and didn't really have any flavor or seasonings. She said the guacamole seemed store bought. As you can see in the photos, their sour cream comes in a little squeeze tube. She was not very happy with her meal. The atmosphere was the typical Mexican restaurant with music and decor. The service was great, Letty was very attentive making sure our drinks were topped off and we didn't need anything else. We'll definitely come back, but next time I'm getting their smothered chile verde burritos. You've had them before and they were really good.

This was our first time and they have made new customers. First of all this place has a drive thru! What!? Yes a drive thru which is super convenient. The staff is super friendly, there is a notice at the front stating they are short staff but it’s the type of world we’re living in. Be patient they are trying their hardest. It was just my husband and I - we like to order different plates so we can have a better sense of the restaurant. We ordered: Complimentary chips and salsa - the salsa had a kick good flavor. Smother Chile verde fries with cheese for appetizer the fries were crispy tender and well done, lots of carne, Chile verde was great. I ordered 3 carne asada flour enchiladas with cheese - yes you read that right - CARNE ASADA - they have carne asada here! Mexican steak came with fries, rice, beans and Flour tortilla. The service was awesome Our waitress Toni was really pleasant and you can tell she really enjoys her job. We will be back! Thank you Toni and staff everything was perfect.

I’m really sad to write this, as this was my #1 Mexican food choice I’ve literally eaten here hundred of times, love their chili verde. I went tonight, we went through the drive through and waited a good 10 minutes which to me is fine because it means my food is fresh & being prepared, we drive home and opened our food and I took about 3 bites of my frontera fries and felt something hard and chewy so I pulled it out and it was a literal wire from a scrubber or something. Thankfully I felt it instead of swallowing it. I called to complain and they offered me only my fries back when my and two other people ordered. Eventually after being put on hold they asked me to physically bring back the fries and the wire to check it out to refund my money. If it were to have been someone elderly or a kid who would have gotten that, they may not have been so lucky! So dangerous & gross!

if you want to spend around 30 dollars and have it go to either the garbage or vomit on the ground then this is the place. I only ate two bites of my food and my husband not wanting to be rude ate the whole meal trying not to be rude and inconsiderate with me only taking two bites and not even requesting a box. as soon as we reached our house my husband got out of his truck and puked all over. since puking he feels amazing while six hours later I'm still feeling sick from those two bites I took. 1. the salsa is in a bottle and taste aweful. 2. your first batch of chips is complimentary then they charge you 2.75 for each basket after that, if I wanted to pay that much for chips I'd be better off going and buying a 2 dollar bag from the store and pace salsa (it would be much more appealing). 3. no words can stress enough how bad the food was!!! 4. the rice wasn't mexican rice, it was white rice covered in something turning it a slight yellowish to where it appeared as a plate of maggots. 5. you can buy better enchilada sauce from a grocery store. 6. really a Mexican restaurant with no liquor license. 7. save your stomach and don't ever eat here! I would rather take my $27.65 and go to taco bell, may have diarrhea the next day but it's better than vomiting from the taste of the food. this place truly needs to try their own food to reassure what they are selling to people and if it's worth the quality they have it priced as. clearly my husband nor myself will ever be going here again. never thought in my life I'd be so disappointed I would actually write a review to warn people so they don't experience what my husband did or have an entire meal go to the...

Update - went back last week. Ordered the combination. When the plate was put in front of me, I opened the taco and asked "How is this different than a folded over tostada"? The service is still spectacular the food? Strictly one star. Definitely over-priced.

Update to the response... I've been eating at La Frontera for 30 some-odd years typically weekly. Since the pandemic, it has fallen off. There was no meat on the plate except for the chili verde they charge $2 extra for. It was nothing other than beans, tortillas, lettuce, tomato and some enchilada sauce. Absolutely NOT a value. You would be better off at Taco Bell or better? Make your own. This is exactly how their St. George location fell apart. I'm not ready to give up on you. Your response doesn't give me a lot of confidence, but I will try you again next week. Let's see if you can do better.

Absolutely dreadful. This place used to be near the top of the goto list. Their food has fallen way off. We ordered the combination. They place a taco filled with refried beans next to a tostada with exactly the same ingredients. They clearly don't understand Mexican food. The enchilada and burrito on the plate are...
