I love this store! This small place is ran by a hard working Korean family, so expect to see some Korean products. However, they do a really good job of incorporating other east Asian products such as Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese items. I routinely get my kimchee here. Also, this is the only place in Oklahoma where I can find my favorite instant yakisoba noodle bowls. Real rice is sold here, as opposed to Uncle Ben's rice or whatever Walmart tries to pass off as rice. You can find a surprising variety of sauces here i.e. soy, fish, teriyaki, Okonomi, yakisoba and much more. There is an en-suite restaurant that has some really good Bulgogi dishes. A must try'. If you're in Midwest city looking for Asian cooking equipment such as quality rice cookers, dishes, pots, pans, chopsticks, etc.. you may find it here. So next time you want to try making your own gyoza, fried rice, or favorite noodle dish, consider finding the right ingredients here. Chances are you will likely find what you're looking for without traveling to up NW 23rd & Western or down to SW...
Read moreThis is the MOST AUTHENTIC KOREAN BBQ you will find in the entire state of Oklahoma. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but what it lacks in looks it MORE THAN makes up for in the quality of their food. The flavor, the amount of food honestly, and the quality is impeccable. It's like a hidden, tucked away, little place that really, truly needs to be a five star restaurant that is talked about world wide. I've never had better tasting chicken in my life. I ordered the teriyaki chicken, and my husband ordered the hot stone bi bim bab bowl. And for about $27 bucks, not only are we both extremely full, but we also have enough leftovers for at least two lunches later on this week.
If you have not tried this place yet, PLEASE do yourself a favor and indulge in this amazing Korean BBQ. They are mainly opened for lunch and early dinner. Closing around 6pm-7pm based on business. I wish they were open longer. Heck, I wish they were opened 24/7!! I would eat here for breakfast,...
Read moreI am excited to learn there is an Asian Store less than 3 miles from my home. I shopped at Super Cao Nguyen for several years & love the store. However, I now live in MWC, OK and at age 72 plus I no longer own a vehicle, I have no way to get there. I lived in Honolulu for 10 years so I just buy the basic Staples you'll find in any Asian kitchen. I always have soy sauce, oyster sauce, sea salt, mirin, Socki, etc. I think that people who are unhappy with customer service need to educate themselves before going to an Asian and understand that they speak English as a second language. They usually speak several languages. Be king. You have your cell phone, if you have a question about a product, Goggle it. There is also contact information on...
