I just want to first start off that Ive never left a bad review on anyone or have made it known that I don’t like the haircut because I don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings but I got my haircut by Ryan for $56, and it was Probably the number one worst cut I’ve ever had in my life. I showed multiple pictures and explained how I usually have my haircut. Now it’s been a little over a month since I’ve had a haircut so I could’ve understood if it wasn’t identical to the pictures I showed but it was no where close. It’s way shorter and very uneven. The guy used clippers instead of scissors to cut the top of my head and when I asked about him using this method he said it was just an easier and quicker way to get the haircut done. He bragged to me about how he doesn’t like to take his time on a haircut and rather just rush through it to get it done to get to the next person. Which I think is very unprofessional. I feel like if I’m paying $ 56 for a haircut and beard trim you should at least take a little time and pride as a barber to go over my hair instead of rushing through it. His customer service was also not the greatest, the tops of my shoes was covered in hair and the lady on the side had to blow them off for me, he was just going to send me on my way and not acknowledged it. Ive been to multiple barbers because I travel for work, and this is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had. I would not at all recommend to get a...
Read moreI decided to give Floyd’s a try yesterday and was very disappointed. I thought this might be a reasonable priced alternative to a salon for a high quality haircut, but it was more like an overpriced trip to Great Clips. I don’t actually know who cut my hair because my reservation was with Amanda, but a man who did not introduce himself cut my hair. He basically cut my styled and parted hair into a fade with no part. I would have complained at the time, but I figured, once he already cut all my hair off it cannot be reversed so I might as well see where it goes. The results are not what I asked for and so far require a lot of firm gel so my hair doesn’t just stick up everywhere.
They also have signs everywhere that say free scalp message with shampoo now included In their $36 haircut. Since they never gave me a shampoo at all, I assumed maybe they had signed me up for some other cheaper service, but no, I was still charged $36.
I guess my issue is that this place is charging a premium price for a haircut and service that are in line with an $18 discount result. Go to someplace nicer or get the same quality for less money...
Read moreI'm a regular at Floyds and I usually have my hair done by Jessica. This time Jessica was fully booked so I decided to give Abby a try. When I sat down with Abby I told her what I usually have done to the best of my ability and she said she understood. However when she said things like "I would hate to have this cut" or "I don't think we're on the same page" I became worried and self conscious. At the end of the haircut Abby hurriedly took off the cape and said "All done" without cleaning off any of the loose hairs on my face and neck or providing any of the Floyds Experience amenities that they normally provide and went over to the receptionist to which she whispered in her ear and they both started laughing and making faces. As a person who struggles with Dandruff and self confidence, this experience made me overthink and very self conscious. I have always left Floyds feeling confident and happy with my experience up to this point. I would still recommend Floyds as it provides a great atmosphere and experience, but perhaps not...
