What a difference as Stadium makes, the downtown area of Minneapolis Nicollet Mall has undergone so many construction roll and physical changes that it seems as though the old Nicollet Mall has been erased and something new and more expensive has been re-implemented in its absence. The amount of old history being swept out and newer more technologically and work center based businesses are now taking up the walls that branched out through generations of native minnesotans. One thing that won't be leaving is the Mary Tyler Moore statue I think unless they can build a condo small enough to fit inside her pocketbook which they might be able to dot-dot-dot the rent however, would not be market great. I can't complain too much it is a lot nicer in the summer there great places to sit and watch people places and birds. In terms of general violence and discontent, it has been kind of shuffled into a key few areas on the mall most visibly in front of Target and on Hennepin by the Baby Im A Star Mural in back of First Ave... being a city seen from outsiders as a placeholder on the map that's leaving the midway sector of meh, into hey, we should all be happy and reaping the rewards of the changes coming to the city. Nicollet Mall got a face-lift, now let's get some businesses in there to make it fully restored, not in a...

Although with the completion of Nicollet Mall these circles have been removed from their previous location, to the detriment of Art Lovers among the citizens of Minneapolis.
Sadly they are among a great number of sculptures and statuary which have been removed from this mall since it's second renovation in 2015 to 2017!
Someday hopefully, many of those sculptures and statuary will be returned to the Nicollet Mall in downtown...
