Bought a dining room set today from someone who claimed to be the supervisor named Patrick. He was out front smoking a cigarette right in front of the door as soon as we walked up, first red flag. Then we purchased a table; all the while this Patrick guy is watching the Florida gators game on his phone instead of focusing on customer service (you know, what he's getting paid for...his job) we were not told there were multiple options as far as color or design or anything goes. So we paid for the table and had them load the table into our truck. We drove 45 minutes to get the table from this location by the way since the Madison store did not have it. So we drive 45 minutes back home and the table is the complete wrong color. We call the store back and Patrick asks us to email pictures because he said they only have one color. So emails sent, over 20 minutes later he calls back and says yep it's definitely the wrong color. So I tell them they need to fix it. His response is that we need to drive down and pick up another one...umm no. They screwed up and they should be responsible for making it right without it costing me another $100 in gas (because we have to drive our truck out there to get it). So he argues with me on the phone for almost 10 minutes telling me I'm rude because I expect them to make things right. Then he says they can have it delivered to Madison on Monday and we can pick it up there to which I responded that that was still a 35 minute drive for us. I asked if he could have it delivered since they screwed up....he refused. So now my 7 month pregnant self and my husband have to figure out how to repack the dining room table, load it back on our truck (which took an elevated loading dock and two big guys to get it in the truck), and drive alllll the way back to the store to hope they give us the right one this time. I will NEVER shop here again and I would highly recommend others make the same choice. When we called the Madison store to find out if they could help us they were much nicer and said if we had bought it there they could have a new one delivered to us but they can't do anything since it was purchased in Murfreesboro and the delivery thing is their managers discretion (so basically he just doesn't care to help people and fix his stores mistake). If you need furniture go to Madison or avoid this store completely and if you have to deal with Patrick....just run because his "customer service" is nonexistent and he clearly just...
Read moreFirst off I want to say by far the worst experience with a furniture store. We went in back in August 2022 and selected 3 items to purchase. King bed and 2 love seats. They delivered the bed right away! this was great! We asked when the love seats would be in they said approx 2-3 weeks. We waited and called back since no one reached out to us.. Was told well not on this truck and Ashley didn't give a date, so we waited... a couple of more weeks and still nothing.. Waited again and finally October comes along and they set the date for delivery for the 17th. Now during this past few weeks we are being hounded by the finance company about payment which mind you, never received a bill to date! and still not all the merchandise... I called the finance company (American General) they stated and I quote "It doesn't matter if you received the furniture yet" Wow so pay for something you do not have ... What a way to do business. The furniture company gets there money and we do not have the goods. I decided to call Price Point and I apologized for venting a bit. I asked the person that answered the phone and she explained that yes they were at the mercy of the manufacturer like we were, nice way to put it. I asked since we waited for 2 months and wanted to cancel or refuse shipment she said well then you would need to come in and reselect or lose a 20% restocking fee. I should of did this earlier she stated. On the day we purchased we were told you could not cancel or you would lose the 20% fee just refuse delivery if you have to and you will not lose the 20%. So we are stuck after waiting 2 months, hounded by American General.. I will never buy from Price Point Furniture again. They day we went in was nice and the sales person, other then trying to juggle several sales at the same time, was nice.. but the experience has been...
Read moreHad I written this review right after purchasing my furniture, they would have received a high review. We chose a very expensive, well-made bedroom set which cost over $8000. Everything was in stock and we set up the "white glove" delivery, which was not cheap. When the delivery people came, they rushed out as quickly as possible not allowing me to even check the furniture for damage. In fact, I had to ask them to place the very heavy dresser in the correct place and got an eye roll in response. Once they left, I discovered one of the dresser drawer slider mounts was damaged and the drawer didn’t close properly and the mirror for the dresser had a scratch. Thus began a journey that still, weeks later, hasn’t been resolved. I called twice to get the drawer replaced and spoke to Savannah. She said she’d get a drawer out ASAP. I called two weeks later for an update and was assured she’d call back that day—she didn’t. I waited a week and called again with the same promise. Again, no one returned my call. Another week and a third phone call. The woman on the other end sounded peeved that I was insisting on a call back. She assured me it would be handled no later than Friday. It’s now Monday evening and no phone call. My sister bought the same bedroom set, but the dresser had to be ordered. She was promised it would delivered within three weeks. Six weeks later, they told her it would be another two months.
They’re great when you make a purchase—they’ll tell you whatever you want to hear to get the sell. Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. We aren’t talking inexpensive furniture here, but high end. I will never shop Price Point again. I understand the issues with recent COVID problems, but they should be honest upfront about the timeframe and they should definitely return...
