Positive pic is from amazing salon and stylist who fixed it. Go to Mikayla at Terra Salon. Stay away from everyone at Cassandra's. If they treat clients of 17 years they way the did (not to mention on who always tipped over 20%) how are they going to treat everyone else??
Kristin Atkins was great when she loved what she did and was passionate even despite her high level of unprofessionalism and lack.of.empathy. almost every time I came iin she would tell.me how she couldn't stand her next client for reason x y or z. I'm not naive so i know she would tell the person before me every reason she disliked me. Eventually it started to feel like I was a burden getting my hair done. She was pretty clear how unhappy she was to be there. Gave her slack after her ex died over an over dose but if u want clients to keep tipping $100+ per visit FAKE IT. IN CASE YOU'RE NOT AWARE THAT'S WHAT EVERYBODY WHO WORKS IN THE CORPORATE WORLD AND EVERY OTHER TYPE OF BUSINESS HAS TO DO BECAUSE UNLESS YOU WORK FOR A SALON WHERE IT'S A BUNCH OF WOMEN'S WHO CONSTANTLY CAUSE DRAMA SANDRA OBVIOUSLY THINKS THAT'S COMPLETELY NORMAL BUT KRISTin YOU HAVE BECOME THE MOST SELFISH SELF-CENTERED EGOTISTICAL ROTTEN PERSON I'VE EVER KNOWN AND AT FIRST I GAVE YOU THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT BECAUSE I FELT BAD AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TO LUKE BUT YOU AREN'T RUINED MY HAIR AND THEN YOU SENT ME TO SOMEBODY WHO IS COMPLETELY UNQUALIFIED TO DO MY HAIR LEFT THE GLAZE ON FOR 45 MINUTES SO I ENDED UP WITH BLACK HAIR AND THEN TO TOP IT ALL OFF WHICH MY NEW STYLIST IS GOING TO SEND ME PICTURES OF IT SO I CAN POST IT ON YOUR SITE ON THE BACK OF MY HAIR in back 2 incense shorter
Now because Sanda refused to reimburse me for that last visit I've filed a case with small claims. My lawyer is now pushing 5k due to all the damages, gossiping (Sandra doesn't even know which of her employees have come to my rescue to testify) but will now hands down cost between 5k and ok.
Sandra you had every opportunity and y0oh failed a client of 2o years and coddle the former shinignstar Kristin who could care less what her clients look like. BTW also so professional when Kristin tells me about her old client who wants to show her pics of her grand kids and kristin told me for 20 min how much she hated it. Basically Sandra and Cassandra's Salon and Spa dare invincible and that nothing will ever take them down but I'm hearing plenty of stories in response to what I've posted on Yelp as a result of my experience and I have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint as have five of my friends and one of my family members who have had their hair done and I'm also filing a small claims against them for a lot more money which includes the amount that it cost to fix my horrible hair when they could have just settled this by reimbursing me for...

I was even willing to drive as far as NYC, just to find a good stylist. I had never had short hair in my life, so if it was going to be cut short, I wanted an experienced and capable stylist to be SURE my hair wouldn't be dramatically different AND botched up. I did an in-depth internet search for good salons. Luckily, Cassandra's was only an hour away, in Nashua's and they had been repeatedly named Best Salon in New England. Laurie cut my hair. I really liked Laurie a lot. She was not the typical superficial brainless blonde that I always thought of when I thought of hair stylists. She was very conscious, intelligent and thoughtful. I liked her immediately! She was so excited to be cutting more than a foot of hair off. She took her time, she was so enthusiastic, and even consulted with a few of her co-hair stylists to be sure I had picked the right cut for by face shape. All of the employees had been curious about what I was gettting for a cut and so ecstatic when I told them. The other stylists seemed even a slight bit envious of Laurie being the one to cut my hair. I felt so at home and welcomed. I felt like I was more than just a customer. Everyone seemed eager to meet me and to provide the best quality service. They treated me as if I had been their highest paying customer for years, or as their own sister. Overall, Cassandra's Salon is atmospheric of a environmentally and culturally progressive salon and spa. It's the kind of salon and spa you would except in San Francisco or Boston. The only area lacking in esthetic appeal is the architectural design of the building and the pricing. Word of advice! The more experienced stylists are not necessarily the best stylists. A year later I had come back for a new style. Choosing the artistic director, I expected similar treatment, but I found him to be disinterested and not careless, but less careful and focused than Laurie had been. Read moreI had an appointment for my wedding reception (after a destination ceremony) at a different salon and when I showed up, they didn't have a record of my appointment anywhere! They grilled me (like it was my fault) and then told me I’d never get another appointment and to come back later and they'd "try" to do my hair! I was freakin' out!
Thankfully my sister in law recommended Cassandra and I called them and told them my story and they told me to come on in for both my hair and makeup!
The place itself is beautiful and clean and all the people at the front desk were so nice and friendly. They had some amazing clothes and other accessories to browse while I waited. I was there only a couple of minutes before they called me in.
I wish I could remember my hair stylist's name (it may have been Kate) because she did an awesome job! My makeup artist was Chris and he made me look amazing (even in the HD pics the photographer took)! They were both super nice too.
