If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at the American Airlines cargo facility at LGA was absolutely unacceptable. We arrived more than 3 hours before our flight to ship our dog, yet the staff did their best to make sure we missed it.
The wait time was excessive, and our presence was even denied despite their own system showing we had been waiting over an hour. The employees were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful—often looking us in the eye and then ignoring our questions. They barely answered anything, didn’t know how to operate their own system, and it even took 10 minutes just to figure out that the printer was out of paper.

I had a medium sized doggie crate that I was carrying for someone else, and paid $30 for, to check in. The baggage folks at check-in said they cannot accept the crate as checked baggage, even though it was empty.
I asked them to help and tell me what I could do to take it on the flight, so they took me to see their check-in supervisor, who was a black woman, with an attitude. She was downright rude and nasty. Said it was my problem to figure it out and told her agents not to talk to me.

There is nothing different that they're doing at delta from what southwest or American needs to be done. I don't see why there is a 1 hour wait to drop off one piece or pick up one piece. The sign in system does not even work because there is people who have priority and they skip the line. People are not even at the location and they have employees process their paperwork.
