Dream City — Attraction in New York

I randomly came across Dream City in a quest of looking for a friendly, neighborhood play gym for my daughter. We really liked the place the first time we visited. My daughter (then 1 year old) absolutely fell in love with the place and kept asking to go back. Over the course of the next few months, we managed to squeeze in a few more trips to Dream City. When looking for a place to host my daughter's birthday party, we found out that Dream City hosts parties for kids and after speaking with Corrie, we didn't need to look any further. Dream City has a wide array of popular themes for kids parties to choose from or they can work with you in customizing your vision. As someone who is very particular about details, I probably sent a dozen or so emails during the planning process. Corrie and her entire staff was extremely helpful throughout, taking their time to answer all my queries and assure me that the event is in good hands. On the day of the event, we walked into a beautifully setup party room with everything decorated better than I had imagined. They were so particular with all the details, it felt as if we had done it ourselves. Corrie was our party lead on the day of the event and helped us through the entire event, coordinating every detail from food, drinks, timing, cake cutting, music. Not just the kiddos but all the adults had a blast. Dream City is a great location. Each and every item/toy placed inside is thoughtfully selected to allow kids of all ages to have the best time. I have been to a few play gyms in my tenure as a mom (:-P) and this is by far the cleanest and well organized. We will not hesitate in recommending this place to anyone who is looking for a spectacular play gym for their kids or for hosting kids parties. Needless to say, we will be going back quite a bit!!! I was hoping to book this place for my son’s birthday party and was extremely excited to find out the time and date we were looking for was available. Spoke to Alexis and scheduled an appt for a tour in hopes to put my deposit down after the tour. However, come the day of the tour, I unexpectedly learned the slot was taken by someone else and they did not even notify me. Luckily I left a VM to let them know I needed to reschedule the tour but only to learn it was no longer available. The response was, lack of communication with the staff and just like that, I have rearrange everything. I really like this place and was hoping to throw a party for my kid but this was a really bad experience for me. I understand that there are no guarantees to holding the space but I had informed Alexis if anyone shows interest to let me know so I can give them a deposit since I couldn’t meet for the tour until a later day. Had I not left a Vm the day of the tour I would not have known the date was no longer available. The owner Corey was apologetic for the lack of communication but I felt extremely disappointed and this was not very professional on their part. Almost felt like they went ahead with the money and took the first booking possible and disregarded the entire conversation I had with them. I had my son's 1st birthday party here and the entire experience was seamless from start to end!

I have a knack for attempting way too much DIY - from my wedding to my own baby shower. So for my kiddo's 1st bday I wanted something where we literally just walk in - and Dream City is the place for that! Such a godsend for busy parents who still want an impressive and large space for a party!

My husband and I toured the expansive space and loved how BIG it was and how clean it looked. They also offer two different packages for different budgets, take care of ALL decor and setup, have a seamless team that keeps the party moving, packed all the leftover food, drinks and decor for us, and even offered to give out goodie bags!

There are a number of themes to choose from and they can work with you for any custom themes as well. We chose a Space theme for our LO's first trip around the sun. I dropped off extra decor a few days ahead and spoke with the owner, Corrie, who was so friendly and easy to work with. The day of, we showed up late but were eagerly helped in. The staff swooped in right away and took our food and drinks to set up. A'lexiz and her team was a pleasure to work with. We heard fantastic remarks throughout and post party about how fun the party was! We love that Dream City is only a few blocks away and we will definitely take our little love to their class offerings as well...
