Ensemble Studio Theatre — Attraction in New York

Lovely little theater. There are stairs up and an elevator just before the main entrance for those that need it. It could get a bit hot in the theater but that’s a minor thing. The experience and staff were great and they offer free cold water. I watched their recent performance of Las Borinqueñas and it was a wonderful first time to the theater. It was an intimate small setting and it made a great production all the better. Brava ladies! ¡Y pa’ lante! 💪🏼Would love to see Nelson Diaz-Marcano write more Puerto Rican centric plays. Small theater creating huge productions. I love the building, quintessential NYC building. We went to go see Behind the Sheet. Excellent play. Truly magnificent. The staff are friendly. Another long running hells kitchen theater.. On same block as intar theater.. Long running. They have 2 spaces on w.52st.. New plays and many other programs..check their website ..unlike other theaters..there's always something of interest going on..whether its a mainstage production or a Youngblood (young writers)..or their Sunday brunch...
