Cybert Car Care Est. 1916 — Local services in New York

As I seek for a unique tire size in NYC for a SUV, I came across Cybert tires. In the process of doing my due diligence, I read the reviews left for Cybert tires. I'm glad I didn't let it deter me. Based on information provided, when I arrived, they moved a front tire to the rear and replaced my spare that I was riding on. In addition, they removed the tire from a rim in preparation to place the two new tires in the front. Come to find out, I provided the wrong information and the tire size I needed wasn't available. They were able to dig up one tire of the unique size I needed. I overhear the technician say, "I can't place two different tire treads in the front of the car." Not only did he remount the tire previously removed. He moves the tire back from the rear to the front so I can have two matching front tires and he placed the new tire in the rear, but to my greatest appreciation and without me asking, they took the time to place back my spare tire in its proper storage, which wasn't an easy task, and I was dreading to do. That is total opposite of being rude. I think they were gracious considering the mistake I made caused more work. I wasn't billed for any of this work or treated differently. THANK YOU!

What stood out the most, besides it being a clean and pristine shop, it was all the plants. To keep plants alive and healthy requires a green thumb. A green thumb requires patience, dedication, attention, consistency, caring, and love for the plants to flourish. Those are characteristics and values that are natural. It seems it translates into the business.

Went with my rental car leaking air (due to two screws according to the repairmen). I plan on driving some long distance and felt unsafe with just air filled so decided to find the closest tire/repair shop I could before my trip. The whole staff is just extremely helpful and efficient. Female here and I completely felt safe and well taken care of. Some of the reviews say they are rude or unwelcoming toward women. Untrue. Maybe I went on a relatively slow day, but I can see this being an extremely stressful job especially during god awful summers with extreme attitudes in the streets of NYC. If you catch them on a particularly busy and extreme weather day can see why some might take it that way. People might mistake the direct and efficient attitude as rude. It’s just simply not true. I used to wonder why cars with flats would just drive around clunk-a-dunk around Manhattan but there aren’t too many places that will refill the air for you or auto shops. The tire repair was on the high end but with prime real estate, high labor cost, it made complete sense. They even let me know if the tire gets one more screw, it’s just better to replace the tire completely. I brought my 2013 5 series BMW here to get the starter replaced. NEVER HAD 1 ISSUE BEFORE HIRING CYBERT TO REPLACE STARTER. When my car was returned, it was barely running and was stating "drivetrain malfunction" on the screen. It was backfiring, revving when first turned on, shaking at times, and did not have full engine power along with numerous other issues whilst engine was turned on. I brought this to the attention of the manager and he told me they were not responsible as the car was not running when i brought it to them as the starter needed to be replaced so if I wanted to have them work on it more I'd need to pay more than the 900$ i had already been charged. Instead of allowing them to damage my car any further, i brought it to another mechanic. New mechanic showed me how cybert had left numerous wires unplugged and the ends of the wires were frayed and melted from the heat of the engine therefore my car was not hooked back up even close to properly!! Cybert either purposely left all those wires unplugged to make more money or are not BMW certified as they falsely advertise! DO NOT LET THEM RUIN YOUR CAR, LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE OF TRUSTING THEM AND GO SOMEWHERE PROPER!! THEY ARE SNAKES...
