Thanks Kevin for managing everything from scheduling, parts ordering and service to replace my front brakes and rotors. You made the process quick and easy!
Thank you Valentine for making the service for my RS5 easy and seamless. I had two tires replaced, a wheel alignment, a 4yr maintenance and a recall done in a very timely fashion. You kept me updated every step of the way and had my car back right on time. Huge Thank you!!!
I've leased an S5 and an RS5 (and then bought the RS off lease) from Audi Manhattan. I've dealt with Levani for all of those processes. He is the BEST! Straight up, straight forward and will bend over backwards to take care of his customers.
Over the past 5 years I have only praises for Audi Manhattan. My only issue I have now is the cost of repairs. In December of 2020 it cost me $229 for a wheel alignment. Today, that alignment cost me $436. I have no issue of a raise in price, especially during Covid. However, almost double the cost in a little over a year is just too much. I called another local dealership (outside the city) and they quoted me $269.
I will continue to lease / purchase my cars from Levani / Audi Manhattan. I will have Audi Manhattan handle my prepaid maintenance. But for any out of pocket service repairs, I will have to take my car to another dealership. I can't justify the difference in price, just for the convenience of dropping off my car locally.
Previous review from my RS5 lease in 2018. Ask for Levani! I got my first car from him 2 years ago. At that time, there were literally only 2 cars available with the exact specs I wanted within a 500 mile radius. And since Manhattan did not have one, Levani said, no worries, give me a week and I’ll get you one. Sure enough, he got it. I did a 2 year lease with that vehicle, as I really wanted a B9 S5 with black optics (which was not available at that time). Levani kept in touch with me over those two years and more frequently the past few months, as we waited for the 2019 order guide for the S5 tba. While we kept in touch the past few months, I started getting the itch for the RS5. Levani was very patient with me, as I asked a million questions and as I went back and forth trying to decide which car is best for me. He never pressured me and never pushed me towards the more expensive vehicle. Finally when I was getting very serious about choosing the RS5, he worked super hard to get me the car at a price that I was willing to pay. If Levani says he will do something, he does it. If you have a question or need advice, he responds immediately.
And Audi Manhattan is a pleasure. From leasing to service to end lease and new, they make it all easy and seamless.
Previous review from my first lease with Levani / Audi Manhattan 2 years ago: I just picked up an S5 from Audi Manhattan. I worked with Levani Zazadze, who was an absolute pleasure. Levani was able to transfer the vehicle I wanted from another dealer. He then ordered (for me) and had installed all season tires and a roof rack prior to me picking up the car. At pick up, he guided me through all the functions of the vehicle. From the no pressure sales assistance, getting the vehicle from another dealer, all the paperwork and constant communication, Levani made the whole...
Read moreI recently had an experience with Audi Manhattan that I must share as an example to all out-of-state buyers who want to do business with this dealership.
I flew into NYC from Northern Vermont to purchase a very specific used 2021 Q7 that took weeks to track down, and I was quite disappointed with the how the experience ended.
First of all, despite my repeated requests for more photos of the vehicle, which they provided some, they failed to disclose some significant cosmetic defects. I was told and trusted that the 3 rounds of photos were comprehensive, so I organized the wire transfer, a one way plane ticket, hotel stay and transportation to the dealership.
When I arrived at the dealership, we made good progress on the sale. There was another car “stuck” in the delivery bay so we went through the car in the dark storage garage. We signed all the documents needed in the F/I office and set up the vehicle with my phone and preferences. I was very excited and pleased with the process and vehicle so far.
On the way out, we entered a service garage area that had much better lighting. I was shocked to discover a large windshield chip that the dealership attempted to fill (poorly). I asked what that was and he tried to pass it off as dirt. When it wouldn’t rub off, it was clear it was a chip that he “missed”. Clearly someone knew about this as there was a poor attempt at a repair. I protested with the salesman, and I was rushed out of the garage and off-premise. The overall attitude and response was too late now buddy, gotcha…..
Once I completed my 6-hour journey home, I discovered paint marks from another vehicle on the driver's side mirror, and a substantial chunk of rubber missing from the tire sidewall. These issues were not mentioned or documented in photos, and it felt like they were purposefully hidden from me. I was also told that the vehicle got new tires, and using a tire depth gauge at home, they average 5 32nds. Not even close to new.
What disappointed me even more was their response when I pointed out the problems and asked them to refund some of my deposit funds as a compromise so I could repair the damage (the rest of the funds were sent via wire). The salesman and the sales manager made it clear that their only compromise was for me to drive the car all the way back to them, and they would refund the purchase price. I asked what they would think if their stonewalling made it to a google review and was told “don’t make threats like that, it won’t get you far here.”
I asked how would I get home if I turned around and returned the car (I was already half way through Massachusetts), and was told they were "going to have to check on" if they would reimburse my travel expenses back home. Not confidence inspiring or a likely outcome. They knew I wouldn’t turn around because it would be a considerable inconvenience and add a lot of additional cost for me, so they didn’t budge.
This lack of transparency and their unwillingness to take responsibility for the situation left a bitter taste in my mouth. For these reasons, I give Audi Manhattan a two-star rating. I hope they can improve their communication and customer service in the future to avoid causing similar inconveniences to other customers who travel from...
Read moreThe service department at this dealership is at best incompetent, at worst, fraudulent. yes, thats right. i had taken in my car for regular service and the occasional tire repair there. no complaints to start. but this was 2022, dealers were minting money, so maybe they didnt need to cut corners. but starting in 2023, 3 successive visits to the service center resulted in 3 unacceptable results. 1st time, to change a popped tire. THEY FORGOT TO SEAL THE TIRE CORRECTLY and it was losing air within hours. had to take back, tell the service coordinator what they did wrong (why are you being paid if i need to tell you this?), and just generally annoying. but were all human, were allowed to make mistakes. but then came the second. brought in for the usual 10k service. this involves oil change, spark plugs, air filter, etc etc. get the car back, sheet says everything done. Lo and behold, i find out a few days later, they NEVER CHANGED THE OIL. how the hell do you forget to do that? and that was something i could monitor with a dipstick. what other thing that was supposed to be done, was not done? not to mention the serious harm that could come to a car with you telling me the oil is changed, and ITS NOT. i mean, im still in shock as i write this, that they gave me a bill that says these items were completed, and IT WAS NOT. thats downright fraud. then the 3rd time, i brought in the car to get my TPMS fixed (tire pressure management sensor). service coordinator puts it in the doc, i double check, it says "FIX TPMS" i get the car back, the light is gone. hooray! drive no more than 3 city blocks, and BOOM. the light comes back on. the technician didnt even attempt to repair it. just reset it and hoped for the best. and yet again, the document says "completed" i have all the text messages and receipts from this inept or fraudulent service dept and have thought about bringing this up to the BBB. you can do whatever you want with your car. but i have never been to a service center that says they did things, ESPECIALLY CHANGE THE OIL, and literally did nothing. again, i have all the receipts and...
