I was going to wait until later to write a review, but since my TV is not currently working (2nd time I've had to call, but this time it goes to voicemail) I might as well leave this FIRST review. When they say limited service...believe them. They are not coming to your room for ANYTHING!!!! The 1ST day I asked for wash clothes. She act like she didn't know what I was talking about. The 2nd day I asked for more towels and no wash clothes were brought. I was too annoyed to ask. The rooms are probably OK for college students that don't care. But for $200+ a night. It just wasn't worth it. I didn't mind the walk to Time Square and I didn't mind the neighborhood but for this hotel to have so little, it should be on its A-game. A coffee pot with filters and coffee mugs, but no coffee. The bathroom sink clogs after each use. No phone. Toilet paper holder is broken. Lots of black specks on the sheets not sure if the whites are washed with something else or if my sheets were dirty. Beds sit low but are comfortable. The kitchenette is cool but really not useful for a place where you didn't come to cook for yourself. Do away with the kitchenette at least get a vending machine. Offer SOMETHING!!!!! I thought the shower was nice. It took me about 15 mins to type this because it's hidden behind the keyboard on my phone. But no one has responded to my message over an hour ago. Although check out is not until 11 we may as well leave now. I wouldn't say don't stay here, but Southwest definitely shouldn't have this location on their rewards. But hey, I picked it. My bad! Good luck future stayers. There are some great little eateries in the area. And most of the markets have very nice people.

Stay away if you can. This hotel might seem like a great and cozy space to stay during your vacation but be aware. The only reason I'm giving this hotel two starts is because of its great location and proximity to Times Square. At first glance, this hotel seemed great, our room looked clean, it had a full mini kitchen, a big spacious bathroom and the receptionist was very friendly. We stayed here for four nights and there wasn't a single night in which I couldn't stop coughing and it would only happen while at the hotel room. The kitchen was really dirty and greasy. You could tell they don’t clean often. Also the house keeping lady never cleaned our room despite having the sign on the door.

First the hotel looks good online but after the first look into the room i could tell the brand of toothpaste the prior visitor used + which colour of hand lotion they use. Looks like the managment thought that a cleaning wasn't neccesarry. Nogo for people who want a clean hotel

I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! I booked this hote through Hotwire and didn't know what I was getting for my money but based on the reviews it had everything we needed to make our visit in New York all that we wanted it to be! However once they showed me the hotel I was disappointed that it didn't show a lobby & the rooms appeared to be a little tackey but Hotwire policy of course is no refund In spite of all that I remained optimistic. When we arrived it was no front desk only the towel guy Fernando who gave us a key & code to the front door. We found out our rooms were on the third floor of this makeshift hotel converted from an apartment building! Rooms are small but not to bad after 2 days in. The bed is hard and low to the floor no paper towels or napkins. No room service only for towels but not on the weekend when Fernando goes home!

This is what got me & I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

My sister in law broke her foot before the trip when she asked if they could get another room when someone checked out she received no response.

On the last day of our stay which was Saturday night upon our return I found the room door cracked were anyone could have walked in & taken our things.

On the same day no one bothered to make the bed when they had been making it all week probably without changing the sheets but coming back every night with the bed made gave me the feeling that they did change the sheets. When I called to complain they had to find Fernando who was at the market. He was very apologetic and thank God nothing was missing. However I still wanted my bed made up even though it was already into the evening but they assured me they would make it up. When we got back the bed was still not made up. I guess they said hell its her last day or we don't make beds on Saturday cause we ain't paying no overtime. I don't know but I feel like they were laughing behind my back that I had the nerve to even ask for them to do their job!!!

I will never stay here again &will copy & paste my review to Hotwire for people to beware. I guess you get what you pay for but people shouldn't open up makeshift hotels without giving you a true in depth description of what your paying for. 😡😡 Glad to be getting the heck...

I will be honest, I booked this hotel (through booking.com) purely based on price and location. I couldn't believe that I could get a room for 3 adults for 4 nights so close to Times' Square in the 2 weeks before xmas for under ÂŁ600. I thought it might be too good to be true and right up until we booked in, was worried they would want more money, not recognise the booking or cancel on us but I was pleasantly surprised. ||First off, the location is superb - just far enough out of Times Square to be able to relax because Times Square is chaos, but still within 15-20 minute walk. The area felt totally safe walking back at 11pm each night with my wife and daughter. On arrival we were met by Michele who was very welcoming and friendly. Check in was easy and he carried one of our cases upstairs for us. There's no lift, their website says that and we knew that but 2 flights is hardly difficult. ||The room was always very warm, so much so we had the windows open or air con turned on once we'd warmed up from our day out. The beds were very, very comfortable. I suffer with a bad back and as we each walked over 90,000 steps in 3 days I needed a form mattress, so I slept like a baby every night - again, the location is quieter than being on times Square itself. ||Overall, we were very pleased, basic but fantastic price and the location and friendly welcome and au_revoir made it all the more comfortable. Planning to go back again in 3 years time and just hoping this little gem is still around when we do as we will definitely use it again.||It's a very small hotel so you get personal attention, Michele had a room there and said we could knock on his door any time if we needed anything but thankfully we didn't. On our last day, checkout was at 11 but Michele let us leave our cases securely until 4pm so we could enjoy the whole day. ||Please note, this isn't a posh hotel, and it is priced for what it offers. The rooms are basic, the TV didn't work but we had a kitchenette with fridge, ovens and coffee maker and shower. The room was...
