De Witt Clinton Dog Run — Attraction in New York

My neighborhood dog park that I have been coming to for over 3 years atleast a few times a week. The best feature is the high quality of patrons - both dogs and their human companions. Everyone is nice - dogs well behaved - never had any issues nor witnessed more than a couple in the big dog area. The separate large and small dog sections are great -and there is a lot of shade from large oak trees around it. Also well lit at twilight or later even esp when there are games at the nearby sports fields. While clean and well kept, with seasonal water and even small pools - it’s a big asphalt space which has pluses and minuses. A plus being the dogs don’t come home excessively dirty like they do from the 72nd street and other riverside park dog runs with wood...

My favorite dog- run in Hell's Kitchen. Two separate, and adequately spacious areas. One for small and the other for larger dogs. There is a great pet store on 49th st in NYC called Spoiled Brats; the owner's name is Eddie, He personally paid to have the smaller dog run built for the comfort of our furry family members who can get lost in the Alpha dog One Size Fits All playgrounds. Nice dog park that is big enough for a good run. I go there usually during the middle of a weekday, and it is never crowded. Lots of nice dog owners. Pool for cooling off the dogs and hose to get bowl water if needed.
