The Dupont — Local services in New York

I moved into the Dupont on November last year, and my experience has been amazing from the start. My leasing agent, Hallie Altman, was incredibly warm since she gave me the tour. I expressed some concerns about moving to Greenpoint as I had lived in manhattan for years, and she was very understanding and helpful. Unlike processes at other building and with leasing agents, she was very helpful and not pushy at all, instead understanding and reasonable. She didn't just support me so I signed a lease, but she still has been a key factor in my positive experience since I moved in, which has brought multiple positive things into my life as I build my company. The building is beautiful, amenities are great, and like Hallie, everyone in the staff is genuinely nice and wants to be helpful to you. Highly recommend. Touring The Dupont in Greenpoint was a great experience. The apartments are beautifully finished with high-end, modern details that feel both stylish and comfortable. Some amenities are still being finished, but I saw the gym and resident lounge which are really impressive. I can’t wait to come back and see everything once it’s done.

I noticed some reviews mention the lack of central air conditioning, but seasonal cooling and heating is actually pretty common in NYC buildings (including the one I currently live in) so that doesn’t feel like a downside to me. I live in Jersey but am moving to Brooklyn this summer. A friend recently moved into The Dupont and really loves the building and Greenpoint as a neighborhood. I went to visit her and the  apartment is beautiful with a stunning view! The location is great.
