The Golden Drum is an indispensable asset to the New York City spiritual community. Offering yoga, meditation, workshops, Cacao ceremonies, and teachings from indigenous elders and wisdom keepers from around the world, the Golden Drum welcomes people of all faiths to connect with the sacred traditions of humanity.

The Golden Drum is run by a community of volunteers under the guidance of Maestro Manuel Rufino, an elder with decades of experience as a ceremonial leader with Taino roots and a lifetime building bridges between native peoples of the world.

This organization is also behind the Heart & Mind Festivals, incredible symposiums which have been hosted in NYC, Poland, London and Toronto for the benefit of the public.

The community is also a great resource for those seeking Sound Healing (Dream Seed), massage, reiki, and other holistic healing modalities as many members of the community are trained in these and other healing arts.

I love this venue. I believe in learning and growing through my experiences. I have gathered many meaningful and profound encounters at the golden drum. It is a place to travel the world without leaving NYC. If you are interested in experiencing various teachings from indigenous cultures or into music that moves the heart and mind, this is the place. I really enjoy the sound healing events, dream seed sound journey year long classes and teachings from Maestro Manuel Rufino. I have also met a lot of my friends here.
