Took the seastreak from Pier 11 Manhattan to Sandy Hook New Jersey and back. Round trip for $49 or something. The boat was clean and spacious, good seating options in shade with AC, part sun, or full sun on top deck. I opted for that upper deck both trips, wind in my hair enjoying the views. Seating inside the boat has ice cold AC pumping and comfortable and well spaced seats. Seating gets tighter spaced as you go towards the top. The very top has both seating and standing area. There's a bar on board where you can get alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. There are several bathrooms. You can bring your own snacks or drinks on board. The trip was super efficient, 35 minutes each way. They provide shuttle services at the destination, which are on time and efficient. At first I thought the price tag was high for the round trip ticket, but later when I saw the boat and the process and enjoyed the experience, I realized it was completely worth the price tag. I would definitely do this trip again in a heartbeat. I would also consider doing the whale watch or other routes with this company. Overall it was more of an extremely pleasant memorable experience rather than just a commute, well worth the money.

I'd like to complain about 2 things that Seastreak should really work on... 1. If you're staying for a few days you can't park in the lot next to the terminal. But really, why make folks with bags walk a couple of blocks (10 min)? There's no drop off place for suitcases. 2. The parking lot is terrible! Almost broke a wheel trying to get my suitcase to the ferry over the stones. It was not marked where i should walk so thats another complaint. Then when I got back, I was so happy I wasn't parked in the 1st lot, it had water up to some bumpers of cars since it had just rained. And getting to that 2nd lot (overnight parking) would have required me carrying my suitcase over my head walking down the middle of the street with rain water up to my calves IF not for the nice man I asked for a ride. Some party needs to do something, either Seastreak or The Highlands Dept of whatever. It was not a pleasant experience for a first-time user of the ferry to NYC. On another note, the ferry itself was clean, the crew helpful and the schedule on time. Easy way to travel to Manhattan.

I take the ferry to Sandy Hook (Gunnison) every weekend. It is 47 dollars round trip and this includes a bus that connects from the ferry dock to the beach once you get to Sandy hook. There are two places to board in Manhattan (E 35 st and pier 11) with service to Sandy hook. Tickets must be purchased online when traveling to Sandy hook. You will receive a QR code which is scanned at the dock and you are then given a wristband shortly before boarding. The staff are incredibly nice, there is a bar on board to purchase drinks. The ride is so peaceful and other passengers are nice and social. Definitely take photos as you pass along the Manhattan skyline and under the bridges.

【Verse 1】 Long ago, luxurious steamships Left New York on overnight trips For a transfer to a train in Massachusetts In the day, no ship was finer Than the Old Fall River Liner. With this ferry, it's reopened, I can do this!

Amtrak, Seastreak, Seastreak MBTA! That's my round trip for the 23rd of May! No-one since 1937's gone On the Boat Train that I'm now on!

【Chorus】 The Old Fall River Line has finally returned! This achievement is mine, I'm its first passenger! Though today's version goes to New Bedford instead, Close enough, the Boat Train's reincarnated! 88 years ago, the steamboats met their ends, And now to the South Coast, commuter rail extends, So I sail out to Boston up Long Island Sound! Hear my song about what's lost and now I found!

【Verse 2】 Common folk and presidents rode white-and-gold Fall River steamboats, But it sadly lost its market and it closed down. Boston to New York by transit, Hard no matter how one plans it. Till I found the Seastreak boat direct from Midtown!

New York, Vineyard, New Bedford and Boston! This is a route that no-one before has done! I don't need RIPTA 95X when Boats and trains have a connection!
