Iāll start off with the positive: the salon is nice and close to my house and they honored my first time coupon even though the computer had registered that I had been there before (which I hadnāt).
My experience, though, was the most unpleasant Iāve had in terms of waxing. Of course it was painful but that was expected because it was my first time going in a while. I donāt fault my waxer for that.
A minute or so into my wax my waxed answered a phone call with her gloves still on and then didnāt change them. She was on the phone while waxing me and would pause mid-strip tear because she got distracted by her call. This was painful and also mentally not fun not knowing when she would continue.
The phone proceeded to ring seven (I counted) more times in the 30 minutes I spent there. She did not answer the majority of them, but in a small room the full volume ring was startling and distracting while I was being told to relax repeatedly. She did answer the phone again but took her gloves off that time.
I understand that we all have things going on and would have understood had I gotten a āIām so sorry but I have to take thisā, but there was no acknowledgment and it was frustrating to sit there waiting for her to conduct her personal business with no acknowledgement.
Phone calls aside, she kept going to pull the strips up before they were dry so instead of being able to pull them off in one fell swoop there were many sporadic and painful pulls. This also has never happened to me before.
It seems like most people have very pleasant experiences which Iām glad to see, but I will not be...

My first time there she didnāt ask if I was allergic to anything then proceeded after the wax to slap on tee tree oil right on my skin. What if I was allergic? I had no idea if I was going to get a rash down there or what. Second when getting my wax Someone knocked on the door and the woman working on me flung it open and I was exposed. There were two women outside the door and I made eye contact with one. I was humiliated! And every time I try to schedule an appointment a month in advance she calls me up the day before and asks if I can move it to an earlier time. If your not going to commit then donāt offer those hours. Last time I went she had moved it because she had to go out to lunch with someone. When she was giving me a wax I could tell she was rushing- she didnāt do a thorough enough job like she had done. I didnāt even say anything. I just left and sadly will not be coming back. I went to her for a few months. But enough is enough. I should feel comfortable and relaxed not...

This place have lots of good reviews and It was far from my experience so I thought I would be helpful for other people. I'm genuinely confused..?
If you're looking for Hygene: really really really bad... not a really picky person when it comes to hygenic. But it was bad. Floor, wall, the table they put all the equipment were all really dusty, dirty, quite disgusting at a point I was worried. Manner: The technician took a call while i was getting my wax. Didn't explain about it at all, it was more than a minute call and the technician didn't wear any mask. (So all of their breathe was on my sensitive area.) Professionalism: All places I've been so far gave me time to second look at it and asked if I wanted more. But not here. I still have few hairs left.
.... seriously...
