Wild Captives Archery Range — Attraction in New York

This was our very first time trying out archery and it was a unique but definitely fun experience! The place was very spacious. When we walked in, there was a pingpong table, chess, and an area to sit and chill. There's no one to check you in when we arrive since Aryn was with the previous class. Just make sure you've signed the waiver that was sent via the confirmation email or you can use the QR code located next to the glass display box filled with their archery kit that you can also purchase. Towards the back is where the class took place. You can clearly see all the targets are neatly lined up against the wall.

We started on the dot of our reservation. We had 7 people in our party, so we pretty much took up the entire space which was pretty awesome! Then it's a full one hour of shooting arrows and safety instructions. So make sure not to be late or you'll miss some very important information! I wanted to practice more at the end but other people were slowly arriving for their session. So maybe next time~!

Aryn, our instructor was AMAZING! Very thorough and patient went to every one of us and carefully watched and corrected our forms and stands. Explanations on how to use the equipment and verbal signals were super clear and easy to understand. Thank you Aryn, for making this a wonderful first time experience! And honestly, I would love love love to go back for another session in the future. A quick story: I purchased their bow kit (a beautiful bow!), but when I unpacked it at home, a couple of parts were missing from the string setup.
