Hope in the Park, by way of South Beach Church! The park is on the premises of the PAC of Newport. The Son was out and songs of joy and worship followed, as children played, laughed and we're free to be! Just outside of the ocean and Don & Ann Davis Vista point! Plenty of restrooms, food and fellow ship. Hope in the Park will continue for the next two weeks (Wednesdays; 14th & 21). Come out and check it out, or just come in visit when you can. A family fun atmosphere where you can feel safe with your family and friends.

This would be an awesome park if the upkeep was there. The slide looks super cool, but it was still boarded up and not open for use. That was a huge disappointment for us. Unfortunately, the play equipment is designed for older kiddos who can do a lot of climbing and balance on the ropes. It's not for those who are mobility limited at all or for toddlers, which is also a huge bummer. Every kid deserves to be able to play regardless of age or ability. The slide could be user friendly if it was open. The shipwreck the slide is connected to is really detailed and cool looking, so there's potential!

Outstanding park with a really great tunnel slide. Plenty of free parking, picnic tables, grassy areas, and a cool pirate ship as an entrance to the tunnel slide. Lots of climbing, spinning structures right in the heart of town with lots of cute cafes, coffee shops and stores to walk to. Super close to Nye Beach.

Sad the slide is boarded off and closed as of starzjeepcrew visit April 2024. This was a coastal tradition for the slide while in newport. Slide seems in good repair on outside 🤔 pirate ship still fun to play on. Fun playground equipment. Had fun finding all the pirate ships and lighthouses.
