Usually we enjoy Panini’s roasted eggplant pizza. Today we ordered 2 hours before close and got an almost raw pizza. I shouldn’t have to re-bake my pizza when I get home. I only have a 9” pan to cook this raw lump of dough on, and what’s more insulting is that I pay y’all to cook my pizza. Otherwise I’d go to Papa Murphy’s. Do I have to figure out who is on shift before I order?

Generally good, but today very much bad. Hope this isn’t a trend.

Edit: finally cooked our pizza to a semi-edible state. Sauce distribution is horrible, not as much eggplant, and I could have bought a Totinono’s and been happier. Reign in your B team, Panini’s. They clearly need more training.

Update 1/16/2020: another underdone pizza. I wouldn’t have tried again, but my partner loves Panini’s when it’s good so here I am imagining what could have been if this bakery could...

This is truly a hidden gem. It is a one man operation so it makes sense it opens at 10 am. He bakes and takes care of customers. The bakery is tiny, but everything smells soooo good. I would have taken the three cheese sourdough in an instant if I wasn’t traveling. The apricot danish was too notch and the house brewed, was good. They also have slices of pizza and smoothies. If I lived here, I would be there at least twice per week. Great small place to enjoy some coffee and a pastry, this is a true cafe. I will make it back just so I can come back to but the sourdough, that is how good this place is. Also prices are reasonable, racially compared to the other...

Stopped on a whim on my way down the coast, had an amazing piece of pizza and a cinnamon roll. Had to stop by on the way back up, had more good pizza and few danishes, one of which I'm eating right now the next day. It will be a regular stop in the future.

This is my favorite kind of bakery: rustic and hearty, and when I see the space I know how it's going to taste. For any reviews that have complained about cleanliness, it's an old wooden building where all spaces are used for production. Everything was clean, from the front area, to food display, to the restroom - things are just packed in...

I stopped by on a Thursday morning for some pastries for breakfast and selected a croissant, scone, and apricot danish. The bakery has a nice selection of bread, pastries, sandwiches and pizzas. The croissant was dense and thick, the Danish was not really sweet and a little dense, and the scone had good taste. Located in the Nye Beach district of Newport on SW Coast Street near 2nd street. The pastries were a little disappointing, but I did not try the other products in the bakery. The bakery is a local favorite and I would suggest a visit to try the bread and pizza.

I love this bakery. I’m not really a local but I do work in Newport and walking to this bakery in the morning or for lunch is one of my favorite things. I brought a loaf of their 3 cheese bread to a dinner party and it was a real hit, so delicious we finished the whole loaf right there! :) I really enjoy their apricot danish and their espresso is really good. For lunch they have an awesome pizza special and have the best pizza around in my opinion, plus you get an Italian soda (have them add a little cream to it). Highly recommend!
