Our family started visiting Nye Beach in Newport, Oregon about 40 years ago. We took our 3 young boys there for a trip to get away. It was their first time to see the ocean and walk on a beach. Little did we know our oldest son & my daughter in law would end up moving there and living in Newport. For the last 4 years our family has visited there. We take our grandchildren and make a day of it at the wax museum, Ripleys Believe It Or Not, & the fairly new aquarium. We visit the zoo, go crabbing, and the kids run on the beaches. We walk on the trails that lead down to the ocean shore. I love the beauty of the pine trees π² that follow along the ocean. Its such a beautiful scenery. Once while we were sitting down for a quick lunch inside the the Artic Circle our two little granddaughters met Santa Claus. Yes ! Really !! He was sitting a few tables away from us with Mrs.Santa Claus. π π§βπ . This was in the month of May. There they were ! Santa pulled out his picture ID drivers license and it literally said Santa Claus on it. We got our granddaughters picture taken with the two of them π π€Ά β€οΈ.
