The Louie Boutique Motel — Hotel in Newport

Great experience overall. Beautiful room, fairly affordable, wonderful location.

Our only complaints are: 1. There was no fan in the room to block out sounds from outside the room. We could hear our neighbors very clearly. Most of the time this wasn’t an issue, but on our last night we could hear them up till 3:30am…..a fan or some type of in room white noise would have fixed this. 2. The TV. The description said we would have access to streaming services. Great. But when we got there, the only streaming services available ( for you to sign into your own account) was YouTubeTV. Screen sharing from a phone didn’t work, logging into Netflix via internet didn’t work. On our last day, magically Netflix and other streaming services appeared. Not a big deal but if im paying for it I’d like it to be as described.

The Louie absolutely exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed our 2 night stay in The Berry this past weekend. The ownership has truly thought of every bespoke detail for their property. Communication was wonderful before and during our stay. Our king size bed was incredibly comfortable and we really appreciated the high end bedding and towels. Even though there is not an onsite representative, they have anticipated every possible need and question. I loved the lounge and the perfect ice machine. We walked to several favorite restaurants as well as the miles long beach. Nye Beach is sheltered enough from the activity of Newport that you forget you’re in Newport. The lap of luxury in a motel, you ask? YES, I say!! As Sweet Homes is known for, each room is perfectly curated. We felt like we were at a 5 star resort, with an added kitchenette. Their attention to detail is almost overwhelming, but in a good way. We stayed in rm3- the Sun King's room. We felt like royalty with our private Jacuzzi and outside sitting area. The common gas fire pit was perfect to enjoy with other guests and a night cap. Although this place doesn't have a direct line of site to the ocean, it is in walking distance of all things important in Nye Beach. A perfectly located oasis.
